The
endocannabinoid
system
has
been
linked
to
various
physiological
and
pathological
processes,
because
it
plays
a
neuromodulator
role
in
the
central
nervous
system.
In
this
sense,
cannabinoids
have
used
off-label
for
neurodevelopmental
disorders,
such
as
autism
spectrum
disorder
(ASD)
attention-deficit/hyperactivity
(ADHA),
well
Alzheimer's
disease
(AD),
more
prevalent
neurodegenerative
disease.
Thus,
study
aims,
through
comprehensive
literature
review,
arrive
at
better
understanding
of

therapeutic
treatment

ASD,
ADHD,

ideas
around
how

phytocannabinoids
might
be
working

bioenergetics

The
discovery
of

that

this
system.

compounds
like
CBD,

unclear.
Given
centrality

beginnings

revisiting
phytocannabinoid
action

could
enlightening.
For
example,
