In recent years, several policies and strategies have been developed by the European Union to promote innovation digitalization in agricultural forestry sector, including Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), which allocates just under EUR 150 billion for period of 2023–2027. Italy, sector has grown significantly over past decade, with 3.8% increasing 15.8% farms now being computerized.
