With the advent of information age, digital economy has become an important force in promoting economic and social development; however, its impact on urban–rural relations remains controversial. The primary objective this paper is to conduct a comparative analysis spatiotemporal evolution trends both integration China. It focuses exploring spatial spillover effects dual integration. Utilizing comprehensive data from 31 provinces spanning 2000 2021, employs multiple econometric models analyze intricate relationship between these two phenomena. key findings indicate that, short term, dampening effect integration, with estimated total short-term −4.21. Impact of China’s Digital Economy on Integrated Urban–Rural Development DOI Open Access

This paper measures the comprehensive level of digital economy and integrated urban–rural development across Chinese provinces from 2013 to 2022. Using a two-way fixed effects model, it explores nonlinear relationship, regional heterogeneity, underlying causes how empowers development.
