(1) Background: Food waste (FW) in Romania is 70 Kg/capita/year, while 70% of food comes from public catering, retail services, and households (over 50%–47 million tons). The present study investigates the socio-demographic factors, behaviors, motivations, attitudes related to management Romanian households. (2) Methods: A cross-sectional observational was conducted using an online questionnaire via Google Forms platform 15 April 2023 May 2023. designed assess various aspects, such as some information (age, sex, occupation, area residence, level, household members number, children <18 years age); personal involvement frequency purchases homemade cooking; main sources that generate waste; motivation with which occurs; level awareness regarding impact respondents’ intentions sustainable behaviors practices for management; familiarity respondents notions validity how these may influence their consumption decisions. (3) Results: results show FW incidence occasionally (42%), very rarely (43.33%), frequently (15%), no reported by 2.66% respondents. 35–44 age category records highest frequency, followed 18–24. most wasted are (29.67%), bread bakery products (27.00%), fruits vegetables (14.33%). High purchasing buying following a previously established list reduces frequency. same valid high daily cooking. interest problem its perception money leads diminishing it, guilty feelings increase (37.50% 73.33%). (4) Conclusions: shows multifactorial process involves numerous socio-demographic, behavioral, emotional aspects. Extensive data analysis supports our results, revealing deep self-reported details confirming complex approach.

(1) Background: A sustainable healthy diet assures human well-being in all life stages, protects environmental resources, and preserves biodiversity. This work investigates the sociodemographic factors, knowledge, trust, motivations involved organic food acquisition behavior. (2) Methods: An online survey via Google Forms platform, with 316 respondents, was conducted from 1 March to 31 May 2024. (3) Results: Our findings show that suitably informed people high educational levels (academic post-college) report significant satisfaction consumption (p < 0.05). Cystic echinococcosis (CE) is a neglected tropical parasitic disease linked with significant social and economic burdens worldwide. The scientific community has minimal information on in Romanian people, hospital medical records are the only sources that may be used to investigate its status. A 7-year retrospective clinical study pediatric patients CE from Southeast Romania was performed, 39 children adolescents were included, aged 2-15 years old. They hospitalized cystic Pediatric Department Surgery of Constanta County Clinical Emergency Hospital "St. Apostle Andrew" between 1 January 2017 October 2024. Twenty-nine (74.36%) came rural zones, 10 (25.64%) had urban residences. In total, 28 (71.79%) contact four different animals (dogs, goats, pigs, sheep); they dogs. Data regarding length stay, cyst location, complications collected analyzed. According files, diagnosis established using imaging techniques serological tests for CE. IgE IgG reported appreciable variations correlation all parameters, differences (p < 0.05) recorded. levels considerably increased cases no animal contact, pulmonary involvement, complications, surgical treatment, multiple hospitalizations. Background/Objectives: Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are the leading cause of preventable morbidity and mortality globally. To reduce prevalence NCDs, World Health Organization issued guidelines for a healthy lifestyle, which have been adopted in various countries. Our study aimed to evaluate dietary habits ethnic Hungarian population Romania, allowing us identify potential differences nutritional behavior compared country’s general population. Methods: A cross-sectional, observational, questionnaire-based was conducted collect information on eating behavior, food purchasing habits, patterns among Hungarians, largest minority group Romania. The obtained data were interpreted using multivariate analysis (MVDA), including principal component models (PCA-X) establish pattern recognition clustering, orthogonal partial least squares discriminant (OPLS-DA) examine class between identified clusters. Results: total 247 valid questionnaires evaluated; most represented groups females (67.2%), young adults aged 18 30 (56.3%), individuals with normal body mass index (54.7%), those higher education level (45.7%). Health-conscious behaviors more characteristic middle-aged older adults, females, level. Young appear varied diet, but overconsumption unhealthy products lack interest is evident. Conclusions: Appropriate necessary all age groups; however, programs targeting adult Hungarians especially important, as expressed little habits. Background/Objectives: Lifestyle factors, sociodemographic determinants, and dietary patterns play an important role in shaping genitors fetal health. This study aimed to identify investigate the social determinants of health lifestyle components associated with body mass index (BMI) a population reproductive age. Methods: A cross-sectional online survey was conducted between March 2021 February 2022. Self-reported data on age, weight, height, medical history were collected. Results: total 284 participants age (≤40 years age) included analysis. We identified 3 main patterns: (1) Prudent pattern, higher probability eating meals/day, longer jetlag being homemaker, unemployed, or student; (2) Western after 9 p.m., negatively employment status (i.e., student); (3) Unhealthy smoker.
