Background.Common whitebeam, Sorbus aria (L.) Crantz is an European and Near-Eastern deciduous tree with small red fruits. However, the edible use of this forest fruit currently not widespread. Also, its nutritional antioxidative properties remained undiscovered. In study, chemical composition antioxidant common whitebeam were investigated.Materials methods. The collected from Golo Bardo Mountain in Bulgaria. The phytochemical (carotenoids, phenolic compounds, flavonoids), (moisture, ash, titrable acidity, lipids, proteins, pectin, carbohydrates) activity evaluated by four assays (DPPH, ABTS, FRAP, CUPRAC).Results.Sugar analysis demonstrated that only fructose glucose detected fruit.Pectin content did exceed 1.30%.Moreover, had a low lipid (0.80%).The also characterized as source carotenoids (1.69 mg/100 g fresh weight, fw), compounds (32.42 mg GAE/100 flavonoids (20.08 QE/100 fw).Among acids, 2,4-dihydrohybenzoic, caffeic, p-coumaric, sinapic acid detected. The potential was 168.52 mM TE/100 fw (FRAP) to 244.81 (CUPRAC assay). Conclusion. The current research enriched available information about their sugar content. The absence sucrose, together high content, for future application food products supplements.

The diversification the consumer's taste calls for an expansion food options and novel ingredients. Puddings a well-known choice introduced in human at very early age because their easy high digestion. Four formulations with two types starch (corn rice) were selected object analysis. Nectarines incorporated purée, lyophilized powder. nectarine variety "Gergana", used preparations, is local proven beneficial properties. study aimed analyzing physical (moisture, ash, color, water-holding capacity, water activity, density syneresis), textural (firmness, gumminess, cohesiveness, springiness, chewiness), nutritional, sensory characteristics nectarine-enriched puddings. outcomes obtained from this provided significant information about possible application children's daily menus. All four had distinct peachy aroma. prepared purée resulted better perception texture, capacity. At point, formulation fruit rice most promising results. Abstract: Obesity-associated diabetes mellitus, a chronic metabolic affliction accounting for 90% of all diabetic patients, has been affecting humanity extremely badly and escalating the risk developing other serious disorders. It is observed that 0.4 billion people globally have diabetes, whose major cause obesity. Currently, innumerable synthetic drugs like alogliptin rosiglitazone are being used to get through but they certain complications, restrictions with severe side effects, toxicity issues. Recently, frequency plant-derived phytochemicals as advantageous substitutes against diabesity increasing progressively due their unparalleled benefit producing less effects toxicity. Of these phytochemicals, dietary polyphenols accepted potent agents dual sword “diabesity”. These target genes molecular pathways mechanisms such adiponectin upregulation, cannabinoid receptor antagonism, free fatty acid oxidation, ghrelin glucocorticoid inhibition, sodium-glucose cotransporter oxidative stress inflammation inhibition etc. which sequentially help combat both In this review, we summarized most beneficial natural along complex during diabesity.

Abstract Catechin (EC) is a natural plant extract and has great health benefits. EC interacts with the starch isolated from Chinese chestnut to form complexes. The effect of addition on structure retrogradation properties (CS) investigated in this study. Compared CS, when 10%, peak viscosity (PV), trough viscosity(TV), setback (SB) CS decreased by 45.65%, 39.95%, 47.38% (2185.62, 922.35, 445.42 cp), respectively. Thermogravimetric shows that can decrease degradation temperature starch. Scanning electron microscope cause looser gel CS. results Fourier transform infrared show absorption complex at 3000–3600 cm −1 enhanced high wavenumber. X‐ray diffraction reduction relative crystallinity increase addition. In summary, overall suggest interacted non‐inclusive complex, resulting changes structure. Numerous studies being conducted on synthesis derivatives that exhibit enhanced biological activity. The aim our research was investigate activity newly synthesized ferrocene-containing triacyl derivative achieve cell protection from endo/exogenous ROS and reduction in death by assessing multiple endpoints. Our showed both (1-100 μM) lower levels CHO-K1 cells. Resveratrol at doses <20 μM had little or no effect proliferation, while higher doses, significant inhibitory proliferation viability has been noticed. new significantly altered compared resveratrol-cellular not suppressed regardless concentration applied, extent apoptosis low. In summary, ferrocene-resveratrol potential protect cells oxidative stress low cytotoxicity retained antioxidant properties, whereas caution should be exercised with it impairs induces death. Prunus persica L. preferred summer fruit with distinct, favorable olfactory characteristic. The compositions both peach fruits pulps from eight cultivars (four native four introduced) was investigated compare their composition assess flavor-contributing compounds. In total, 65 compounds were profiled after HS-SPME-GC-MS analysis: 16 esters, 14 aldehydes, 5 alcohols, 7 hydrocarbons, ketones, 8 acids, terpenes. most common aldehydes. Although same identified in pulp, %TIC (total ion current) differed favor whole fruit. Following metabolic profiling total 44 studied varieties. Among them, amino sugar saccharides, fatty phenolic acids as existing groups. According provided principal component analysis (PCA) hierarchical cluster (HCA), relative fluctuated depending on cultivar. No differences visible PCA biplots, which suggested that polar lipid metabolites do not provide significant variations when considering different parts fruit, contrary obtained results could successfully be applied chemotaxonomy peaches differentiation present peach.
