Childhood
obesity
is
a
growing
global
health
issue.
Its
rising
prevalence
linked
to
genetic,
environmental,
and
lifestyle
factors.
Obesity
in
children
could
lead
different
comorbidities
complications
with
an
increased
risk
of
metabolic
disorders,
such
as
insulin
resistance,
dyslipidemia,
type
2
diabetes
mellitus
(T2DM),
dysfunction-associated
steatotic
liver
disease
(MASLD).
First-line
treatment
involves
dietary
modifications
changes;
however,
adherence
often
poor
remains
significant
challenge.
Pharmacotherapy,
while
potential
option,
has
limitations
availability
can
cause
side
effects,
leading
interest
alternative
treatments,
nutraceutical
compounds.
Derived
from
natural
sources,
these
compounds
have
anti-inflammatory,
antiallergic,
antioxidant,
antibacterial,
antifungal,
neuroprotective,
antiaging,
antitumor,
insulin-sensitizing,
glucose,
lipid-lowering
effects.
This
review
describes
commonly
used
compounds,
omega-3
fatty
acids,
vitamin
D,
polyphenols
(such
resveratrol
curcumin),
berberine,
white
mulberry
leaves
others,
pre-
probiotics
the
management
obesity,
evaluating
evidence
on
their
mechanisms
action
efficacy
comorbidities.
The
suggests
that
integration
nutraceuticals
into
diet
may
positively
influence
body
mass
index,
glucose
metabolism,
lipid
profiles,
gut
microbiota
composition
reduce
inflammation

individuals.
These
effects
provide
future

Introduction:
Cystic
fibrosis
(CF)

shown
an

in

problem
due
to

hypercaloric

diet

olive
oil

benefits
