Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disorder characterized by abnormal immune responses and keratinocyte hyperproliferation. Limonin, bioactive compound found in citrus fruits, has anti-inflammatory properties various models; however, its effects on psoriasis are not fully understood. We investigated the therapeutic potential of limonin 12-O-tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate (TPA)-induced mouse model. Mice were treated with TPA to induce psoriasis-like lesions, followed intraperitoneal administration (200 or 400 μg/mouse) for six days. The results showed that improved psoriasis-related symptoms model suppressing mRNA expression pro-inflammatory cytokines inflammation-related antimicrobial peptides regulating expansion myeloid cells T cells. Nesse contexto, vesículas extracelulares derivadas probióticos (VEs ) têm emergido como estratégia promissora devido suas propriedades imunomoduladoras anti-inflamatórias. Os achados indicam VEs cepas Lactobacillus plantaram L.casei L.murinus Propionibacterium freudenreichii apresentam capacidade modular processos inflamatórios ao suprimir citocinas pró- inflamatórias (TNF-alfa IL-17) aumentar produção anti-inflamatórias (IL-10). Além disso promovem polarização do macrófagos para o fenótipo M2 favorecendo resolução inflamação regeneração tecidual modulam vias sinalização intracelular NF-kB contribuindo restauração homeostase tecidual.Esses mecanismos sugerem um relevante potencial terapêutico das no manejo doenças crônicas incluindo reforçam viabilidade seu uso em estratégias tópicas personalizadas.
