Cervical spondylotic myelopathy (CSM) is a degenerative pathology that affects both upper and lower extremity mobility sensory function, causing significant pressure on patients society. Prior research has suggested ginsenosides may have neuroprotective properties in central nervous system diseases. However, the efficacy mechanism of for CSM yet to be investigated.

Spinal cord injury (SCI) is a devastating disorder of the central nervous system (CNS). It mainly caused by trauma and reduces quality life affected individual. Ginsenosides are safe effective traditional Chinese medicines (TCMs), their efficacy against SCI being increasingly researched in many countries, especially China Korea. This systematic review evaluated neuroprotective effects ginsenosides elucidated properties. Methods All experimental information summaries used this were acquired from peer-reviewed articles relevant fields. The PubMed, Web Science, Google Scholar, National Knowledge Infrastructure databases searched for articles. Information on manual classification selection that protect included review. Results A literature survey yielded studies reporting several properties ginsenosides, including anti-inflammation, anti-apoptosis, anti-oxidative stress, inhibition glial scar formation. Conclusion In review, we discuss mechanisms action different exert SCI. These results suggest after further verification future, may be as adjunctive therapy to promote neurological recovery.

In the absence of appearance features, it is becoming increasingly difficult to accurately distinguish botanical herbal powders from different families or parts plant. this study, we explored biomarkers with neuroprotective effects in multi-parts ginseng based on metabolite content changes and biological functions. First, using 1H NMR LC-MS metabolomics techniques multivariate statistical analysis analyze differential metabolites (DMs) main root (TR), lateral (LR) Rhizome (RZ). Also, 14 network pharmacology yielded 23 core targets associated diseases, KEGG pathway was enriched for 117 signaling pathways 184 enrichment processes were shown GO analysis. Combined correlation primary (PDMs) secondary (SDMs) activity, finally identified three ginseng, namely sucrose, ginsenoside Rb1, Rb3. Finally, validated by molecular docking SH-SY5Y survival, results showed that Rb1 Rb3 exhibited favorable activity The study reveal overall differences DMs can help identify powder, avoid illegal substitution when used medicine. At same time, also provides a reference method screening traditional Chinese

Ginseng (Panax ginseng Mayer) is an important natural medicine. However, a long culture period and challenging quality control requirements limit its further use. Although artificial cultivation can yield sustainable medicinal supply, research on the association between transplantation chaining of metabolic networks, especially regulation ginsenoside biosynthetic pathways, limited. Herein, we performed Liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry based metabolomic measurements to evaluate accumulation categorise differentially abundant metabolites (DAMs). Transcriptome using Illumina Platform were then conducted probe landscape genetic alterations in at various ages mode. Using pathway data crosstalk DAMs obtained by MapMan, constructed profile Ginseng. Accumulation active ingredients was not obvious during first 4 years (in field), but following transplantation, content increased significantly from 6−8 wild). Glycerolipid metabolism Glycerophospholipid most significant as Lipids lipid-like molecule affected ginsenosides. Starch sucrose pathways growth. This study expands our understanding network features specific compounds different growth stages this perennial herbaceous plant when growing The findings provide basis for selecting optimal transplanting time.
