BACKGROUND Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are capable of self-renewal and differentiation, extensive studies have demonstrated their therapeutic potential in atherosclerosis (AS). AIM To conduct a bibliometric analysis on the use MSC therapy for AS over past two decades, assess key trends provide insights future research directions. METHODS We systematically searched Web Science Core Collection database articles published between 1999 2023, yielding total 556 articles. Visual representation information were facilitated using CiteSpace, R package ‘bibliometrix’ VOSviewer. RESULTS The analyzed predominantly from 52 countries/regions, with prominent contributions China United States. A cohort 3057 authors contributed to these publications, works Libby P distinguished by influence citation count. Int J Mol Sci has emerged as journal highest publication volume, prominently disseminating influential papers identifying outbreaks. Furthermore, our identified current hotspots within field, focusing vascular progenitor cells, inflammatory mechanisms, extracellular vesicles. Emerging frontiers, such vesicles oxidative stress, been highlighted areas burgeoning interest. Finally, we offer perspectives status directions AS. CONCLUSION This comprehensive provides valuable advancing scientific By elucidating pivotal directions, this study aimed foster innovation promote progress disciplines thereby contributing knowledge clinical practice.

Abstract Background Many studies have shown an association between COVID-19 and autoimmune diseases (ADs). Studies on ADs also increased significantly, but there is no bibliometric analysis to summarize the ADs. The purpose of this study was perform a visual published related Methods Based Web Science Core Collection SCI-Expanded database, we utilize Excel 2019 visualization tools Co-Occurrence13.2 (COOC13.2), VOSviewer, CiteSpace, HistCite for analysis. Results A total 1736 kinds papers were included, number presented overall increasing trend. country/region with most publications USA, institution Harvard Medical School, author Yehuda Shoenfeld from Israel, journal Frontiers in Immunology . Research hotspots include immune responses (such as cytokines storm), multisystem systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis), treatment modalities hydroxychloroquine, rituximab), vaccination mechanisms autoantibodies, molecular mimicry). future research direction may be ideas NF-κB, hyperinflammation, antiphospholipid antibodies, neutrophil extracellular traps, granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor), other cross-diseases inflammatory bowel disease, chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis, acute respiratory distress syndrome). Conclusion growth rate regarding has risen sharply. Our results can help researchers grasp current status find new directions future.

In this study, we used CiteSpace and VOSviewer to create a bibliometric visualization of research papers relating stroke magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) between 2000 2022. To fully understand the trends hotspots in MRI provide new perspectives for future studies. The Web Science Core Collection was selected as source data paper. Using VOSviewer, publications were analyzed authors, countries, institutions, journals, references, keywords. We found 1423 after searching removing duplicates, which indicated an upward trend over previous 23 years. Fiebach J.B. is most published author (21 publications), Hacke W. cited (213 citations), United States (449 publications) Harvard University (86 are prolific nations institutions. Stroke journal with co-citations (1275) (171) published. The representative reference 1995 article by Marler et al, received 115 citations had top 3 co-occurring keywords: stroke, imaging, MRI. Nogueria al showed strongest citation burst at end 2022 (strength = 17.32). High-frequency keywords recent years time, association, functional connectivity, thrombectomy, rehabilitation. This study provides scientific perspective on research, valuable information researchers current status hotspots, trends, guides directions.

Abstract Oxidative stress is widely involved in the pathological process of ischemic stroke and ischemia-reperfusion. Several research have demonstrated that eliminating or reducing oxidative can alleviate changes stroke. However, current clinical antioxidant treatment did not always perform as expected. This bibliometric aims to identify trends, topics, hotspots evolution on field stroke, find potentially strategies future treatment. Relevant publications were searched from Web Science (WOS) Core Collection databases (2001–2022). VOSviewer was used visualize analyze development trends hotspots. In number increased significantly 2001 2022. China USA leading countries for publication output. The most prolific institutions Stanford University. Journal Cerebral Blood Flow Metabolism Stroke cited journals. topics this include inflammation with stress, mitochondrial damage reperfusion injury, cognitive impairment basic translation stress. Moreover, "NLRP3 inflammasome", "autophagy", "mitophagy", "miRNA", "ferroptosis" "signaling pathway" are emerging recent years. At present, multi-target regulation focusing multi-mechanism crosstalk has progressed across period, while challenges come transformation application. New detection technology new nanomaterials expected integrate into better.
