When a cell dies of apoptosis, it is eliminated either by neighbouring cells or attracted professional phagocytes. Although was generally believed that neutrophils also have the ability to perform efferocytosis, their contribution clearance apoptotic considered less important compared with macrophages. Therefore, this remained unexplored for long time. Over past decade, has been shown during inflammation, contribute significantly accumulate in large numbers at site tissue damage. This "neutrophil cannibalism" accompanied inhibition pro-inflammatory activities these cells, such as respiratory burst and formation neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs). Furthermore, efferocytosing secrete anti-inflammatory mediators mitogens including hepatocyte growth factor (HGF), fibroblast 2 (FGF2), vascular endothelial factors (VEGF), transforming beta (TGFβ). Thus, efferocytosis involved resolution inflammation. Recent research indicates plays role cancer. Many different solid tumours contain aggregates dead tumour undergone spontaneous apoptosis. Their extent correlates poor clinical outcome most cancer types. These clusters are strongly infiltrated tumour-associated (TANs) acquired an pro-resolving polarization state. review summarizes potential consequences discussed current literature. picture inflammation becoming clearer, many questions still unexplored.

In this review, we comprehensively present the literature on circulating microRNAs (miRNAs) associated with preeclampsia, a pregnancy-specific disease considered primary reason for maternal and fetal mortality morbidity. miRNAs are single-stranded non-coding RNAs, 20–24 nt long, which control mRNA expression. Changes in miRNA expression can induce variation relative level influence cellular homeostasis, strong presence of all body fluids has made them useful biomarkers several diseases. Preeclampsia is multifactorial disease, but etiopathogenesis remains unclear. The functions trophoblasts, including differentiation, proliferation, migration, invasion apoptosis, essential successful pregnancy. During early stages placental development, trophoblasts strictly regulated by molecular pathways; however, an imbalance these pathways lead to severe lesions pregnancy complications. We then discuss role trophoblast pathogenesis, diagnosis prediction preeclampsia. also potential from epigenetic perspective possible future therapeutic implications.

Identification and ultrasound imaging of the unique vascular characteristics, able predict immune microenvironment, important for decision-making. Herein, it proved that high CD93 expression in tumor vessels poor response prostate cancer. For molecular CD93, CD93-targeted microbubbles (MBs) consist a gaseous core MMRN2 (Multimerin-2) containing cell membrane (CM) /lipid hybrid then synthesized. In vitro vivo assays demonstrate these MBs can recognize efficiently accumulate within regions highly expressing CD93. Contrast-enhanced (CEUS) with demonstrates targeted intensity negatively inflammatory (TIME) cytotoxic T infiltration.
