Background The COVID-19 pandemic and associated preventative measures introduced a shock to the teaching paradigm in Saudi Arabia world. While many studies have documented challenges perceptions of students during pandemic, less attention has been given higher education staff. aim present investigation is evaluate staff’s perception experiences online pandemic. Materials methods A validated survey was conducted between December 2021 June 2022 Arabian Universities assess status among faculty members. collected responses were exploratively statistically analyzed. Results total 1117 response received. About 66% respondents male 90% them hold postgraduate degree. Although rarely or occasionally teach pre-COVID-19, only 33% think transition difficult 55% support move. Most received adequate training (68%) tools (80%) 88% mentioned that they did not accrue additional workload study design. mostly positive (62%) with high satisfaction (71%). However, 25% reported poor internet bandwidth an obstacle 20% unable track students’ engagement.
