This study investigates the influence of specific organizational characteristics—type, location, sector, and size—on perceived disaster management competence within unique context Kuwait. A cross-sectional survey was conducted online distributed via various social media platforms, resulting in participation 438 individuals from diverse institutions job positions. Compound disasters are highly complex and can involve different types of disasters. Thus, this study examined 7 March building collapse in Quanzhou City as a case study. This was typical involving an during COVID-19.
