Dietary cholesterol accelerates oxidative and pro-inflammatory processes, causing hypercholesterolemia cardiovascular diseases. Thus, the purpose of current study is to compare protective effects thymoquinone (TQ) alone or in combination with losartan (LT) against heart damage caused by a high-cholesterol diet (HCD). HCD-fed rat groups revealed an elevated activity indicators cardiac enzymes serum. Serum lipids were also found be significantly higher groups. Cardiac markers increased groups, whereas antioxidant decreased. However, all these biochemical, inflammatory, antioxidant, change returned levels similar those normal rats after treatment TQ LT administered Hypercholesterolemia considerably induced lipid peroxidation product, thiobarbituric acid reaction substances (TBARs), radicals cells, which attenuated QT treatments, particularly when combined. Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is characterized by its high vascularity and metastasis. Thymoquinone (TQ), the main bio-active constituent of Nigella sativa, has shown anticancer hepatoprotective effects. TQ's effect mediated through miRNA regulation. miR-1-3p plays a significant role in various cancers but HCC invasiveness remains poorly understood. Bio-informatics analysis predicted that 3'-UTR TIMP3 target for miR-1-3p; Rats were equally divided into four groups: Group 1, negative control; 2 received TQ; 3 DEN; 4 DEN after pretreatment with TQ. The expression TIMP3, MMP2, MMP9, VEGF rats' liver was determined immunohistochemically. RT-qPCR used to measure level liver, HepG2 cells being transfected mimic or inhibitor; In rats pretreated TQ, decreased MMP9 VEGF, increased levels detected.
