Abstract Recent and continuing advances in gut microbiome research have pointed out the role of microbiota as an unexplored source potentially beneficial probiotic microbes. Along lines these advances, both public awareness acceptance probiotics are increasing. That’s why; academic industrial is dedicated to identifying investigating new microbial strains for development next-generation (NGPs). At this time, there a growing interest NGPs biotherapeutics that alter affect various diseases development. In work, we focused on some emergent promising NGPs, specifically Eubacterium hallii, Faecalibacterium prausnitzii, Roseburia spp., Akkermansia muciniphila , Bacteroides fragilis their presence can impact diseases. Emerging studies point roles open up novel therapeutic options. Interestingly, were found enhance gastrointestinal immunity, immunotherapy efficacy cancer patients, retain intestinal barrier integrity, generate valuable metabolites, especially short-chain fatty acids, decrease complications chemotherapy radiotherapy. Although many considered prevention treatment several chronic diseases, humans still lacking. Therefore, approval microbes from regulatory agencies rare. Besides, issues limit wide use market, such suitable methods culture storage oxygen-sensitive The present review goes over main points related gives viewpoint key hinder application. Furthermore, advancement human healthiness investigations by clarifying limitations traditional microorganisms, discussing characteristics emerging defining management certain ailments. Future should emphasize isolation, mechanisms action probiotics, safety, clinical humans.

Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) constitute a heterogeneous group of isolated from fermented foods, animals, plants, and mammalian guts, with many health-promoting properties. Probiotics antagonistic properties against human pathogens foodborne have garnered significant attention the scientific fraternity. A dedicated review focusing on plant-derived probiotic their has not been comprehensively reviewed. Thus, this aimed at providing an overview LAB isolates derived several unconventional sources such as fruits, seeds, fruit pulp, leaves, roots, vegetables, grasses, flowers antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral This paper reviewed antimicrobial different genera, Lactobacillus, Leuconostoc, Weissella, Enterococcus, Pediococcus, Bacillus, Fructobacillus, postbiotics, paraprobiotics. Several important mechanisms, including secretion bacteriocins, bacteriocin-like substances, reuterin, organic acids (lactic acetic), peptides, exopolysaccharides, hydrogen peroxide, attributed to actions pathogens. However, precise mode action is poorly understood; hence, further research should be conducted reveal detailed mechanisms. Finally, discusses summary future implications. Given significance, compounds can potentially exploited in food preservation safety or for medicinal applications after evaluating safety.

Consumption of commercial probiotics for health improvement and disease treatment has increased in popularity among the public recent years. The local shops pharmacies are brimming with various probiotic products such as food, dietary supplement pharmaceuticals that herald a range benefits, from nutraceutical benefits to pharmaceutical effects. However, although market is expanding rapidly, there increasing evidence challenging it. Emerging insights microbiome research demonstrate several potential limitations natural properties, regulatory frameworks, consequences probiotics. In this review, we highlight safety performance issues properties probiotics, genetic level trait characteristics further probiotic-host interaction. Besides, diverse frameworks confusing guidelines worldwide have led product pathogenic contamination, overstated claims, inaccurate labeling counterfeit trademarks products. Here, propose plethora available methods strategies related strain selection modification, efficacy assessment, some recommendations agencies address these guarantee sustainability progress industry improve long-term development.

The human gut microbiota are critical for preserving the health status because they required digestion and nutrient acquisition, development of immune system, energy metabolism. microbial composition is greatly influenced by colonization recalcitrant pathogen Helicobacter pylori ( H. ) conventional antibiotic regimens that follow. considered to be main microorganism in gastric carcinogenesis, it appears early stages process. However, a non- profile also suggested, primarily later tumorigenesis. On other hand, specific groups microbes may produce beneficial byproducts such as short-chain fatty acids (acetate, butyrate, propionate) can modulate inflammation tumorigenesis pathways. In this review, we aim present how influences population modify host immunity trigger carcinogenesis. We will highlight effect on immunotherapeutic approaches checkpoint blockade cancer treatment perspective further innovative therapeutic paradigms prevent progression -induced stomach cancer.

Abstract Background Microbial dysbiosis has emerged as an important element in the development and progression of various cancers, including breast cancer. However, microbial composition from healthy individuals, even relative to risk developing cancer, remains unclear. Here, we performed a comprehensive analysis microbiota normal tissue, which was analyzed relation tumor adjacent tissue. Methods The study cohorts included 403 cancer-free women (who donated tissue cores) 76 cancer patients and/or samples). Microbiome profiling obtained by sequencing nine hypervariable regions 16S rRNA gene (V1V2, V2V3, V3V4, V4V5, V5V7, V7V9). Transcriptome also on 190 samples. Breast score assessed using Tyrer-Cuzick model. Results V1V2 amplicon resulted more suitable for microbiome identified Lactobacillaceae ( Firmicutes phylum), Acetobacterraceae , Xanthomonadaceae (both Proteobacteria phylum) most abundant families breast. Ralstonia both tumors histologically tissues malignant tumors. We conducted correlation between known factors. Abundances bacterial taxa Acetotobacter aceti Lactobacillus vini, paracase i, Xanthonomas sp. were associated with age p < 0.0001), racial background parity 0.0001). Finally, transcriptome showed enrichment metabolism- immune-related genes vini paracasei whereas presence linked dysregulation involved carbohydrate metabolic pathway. Conclusions This defines features thus providing basis understand cancer-related dysbiosis. Moreover, findings reveal that lifestyle factors can significantly affect composition.
