Eutectic formation in allantoin-octadecenedioic acid system (AOM) has been studied. The binary phase diagram revealed the existence of eutectic at Xallantoin = 0.7. Dioic caused disruption network allantoin and induced defects, ultimately causing reduction crystallinity as shown by XRD SEM analysis. thermal stability TGA graphs was negligibly altered after mixture formation. Classical hydrogen bonding alkyl interactions were predicted using software Avogadro BIOVIA Discovery Studio. functionalities involved taking place studied through in-depth FT-IR spectroscopy. showed efficacy for cutaneous wound healing oryctolagus cuniculus domesticus, hence it could be used therapeutic regulation control bioactivity.

Abstract In the spirit of circular economy and sustainable chemistry, use environmentally friendly chemical products in pharmacy has become a hot topic. recent years, organic solvents have been subject great range restriction policies due to their harmful effects on environment toxicity human health. parallel, deep eutectic (DESs) emerged as suitable greener with beneficial environmental impacts rich palette physicochemical advantages related low cost biocompatibility. Additionally, DESs can enable remarkable solubilizing effect for several active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), thus forming therapeutic (TheDESs). this work, special attention is paid DESs, presenting precise definition, classification, methods preparation, characterization. A description natural (NaDESs), i. e., present sources, also reported. Moreover, review article first one detail different approaches judiciously selecting constituents order minimize number experiments. Natural deep eutectic solvents (NaDES) represent a new generation of green, non-flammable solvents, useful as an efficient alternative to the well-known ionic liquids. They can be easily prepared and exhibit unexpected solubilizing power for lipophilic molecules, although those hydrophilic nature are mostly used. For their unique properties, they recommend different cosmetic pharmaceutical applications, ranging from sustainable extraction, obtaining ready-to-use ingredients, development biocompatible drug delivery responsive systems. In biomedical field, NaDES used biopolymer modifiers, acting compounds also known “therapeutic systems”, being able solubilize stabilize chemical galenical formulations. The aim this review is give overview current knowledge regarding natural specifically applied in fields. work could help disclose opportunities challenges implementation not only green but potential pathways deliver bioactive ingredients innovative

The current work was aimed at the development of a topical drug delivery system for azelaic acid (AzA) acne treatment. systems tested this purpose were deep eutectic (DESs) prepared from choline chloride (CC), malonic (MA), and PEG 400. Three CC to MA eight different MA: CC: PEG400 ratios tested. physical appearance formulations ranged solid liquid semisolid. Only those that showed suitable viscosity considered further investigations. A mixture made 1:1:6 (MCP 116) best characteristics in terms viscosity, contact angle, spreadability, partition coefficient, vitro diffusion. Moreover, MCP116 close rheological properties commercially available market lead treatment product (Skinorin®). In addition, formula synergistic antibacterial activity between moiety DES AzA. diffusion studies using polyamide membranes demonstrated superior over pure commercial product. No signs skin irritation edema observed when applied rabbit skin. Additionally, found be, physically chemically, highly stable 4, 25, 40 °C one-month stability study.
