Honey bees are known for their wide global distribution, ease of handling, and economic ecological value. However, they often exposed to a variety stress factors. Therefore, it is essential beekeepers maintain healthy bee colonies. In this context, balanced diet recommended support the growth strong honey The purpose review therefore provide an overview nutritional requirements Apis mellifera importance maintenance An adequate includes consumption sufficient amounts proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, water, sterols, based on multi-floral pollen desirable. when colonies located near agroecosystems with lower resource diversity, both brood rearing colony longevity may decrease, making them more susceptible parasites diseases. On other hand, efforts have been made improve health help supplements consisting components. Nevertheless, studies shown that even these supplements, lack nutrients can still be issue Furthermore, future research should focus identifying better replicate natural diversity assessing long-term effects resilience, especially in low-flowering areas. Abstract Lead is a heavy metal contaminant that can cause significant alterations in renal structure and function, resulting nephrotoxicity. The fatty acids of royal jelly exhibit immunoregulatory, anticancer, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant properties, which have garnered interest. most prevalent among them 10-hydroxydecanoic acid (10-HDA). Zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnONPs) demonstrate renoprotective effect, likely due to their antioxidant, antiapoptotic properties. This study evaluated the therapeutic efficacy 10-HDA ZnONPs, administered either as monotherapy or combination, against lead-induced Male rats were orally lead acetate (PbAc) for three months, followed by administration and/or ZnONPs one month. Exposure PbAc resulted elevated concentration, well increased serum levels urea, creatinine, cystatin C. condition damage parenchyma, characterised degenerative glomeruli tubules, exhibited highest lesion score. Nrf2 HO-1 reduced expression diminished enzyme subsequent poisoning. Additionally, there was an increase inflammatory apoptotic signalling through p-IKK/NF-κB axis. significantly decreased improved capacity. Moreover, markers (TNF-α, p-IKK, IL-1β, IL-6, IL-8) proapoptotic indicators (Bax Caspase-3) suppressed. combined therapy demonstrated synergistic effect (combination index < 1).
