Expanded usage of polyethylene film in different industries lead to accumulation plastics the environment, which cause pollution and toxicity life forms. It can be replaced by bioplastics are biodegradable, biocompatible, eco-friendly, obtained from renewable sources at low cost such as plant weeds. The biopolymer, cellulose extracted aquatic weeds since they abundantly available system, easy safe handle, biocompatible. Pontederia crassipes an floating weed, widely dispersed surface polluted rivers ponds. Directed remove water bodies EPA due its negative impacts on animal collected biomass cannot used a feed presence polyphenols nitrates. In current study, about 30% was delignification bleaching weed river. Extracted converted into another form derived polymer, known carboxy methyl (CMC) treating with monochloro acetic acid. Biodegradable bioplastic prepared using gelatin gelling agent glycerol plasticizer varying concentrations. Properties cellulose, CMC, were analyzed measuring thickness, tensile strength, elongation point, FTIR, antioxidant assay. About 25.7 µm thickness biofilm exhibited higher strength 55.3 MPa dry, 45.5 wet condition 24 µg/ml activity observed. This research highlights potential utilizing hyacinth, typically problematic develop sustainable biopolymers that address growing environmental concerns associated conventional plastic waste. Thus, this work provides biological approach prepare for commercial applications. While, is costly, suitable, cheap alternative need identified reduce production film. Synthetic plastic impacts the environment due to its slow degradation and generation of microplastics, driving development bioplastics. This study evaluated use bagasse fiber combined with corn potato starch improve physical mechanical properties Five bioplastic mixtures (Am1 Am5) were prepared starch, glycerin, acetic acid, maleic anhydride, agave bagasse. Am1 was without bagasse, others different amounts (0, 10, 30, 50, 70 g). Bioplastics made from (Ap1 Ap5) also produced under same conditions assessed using thermogravimetric (TGA) scanning electron microscopy (SEM) tests. Analysis variance showed significant differences (p < 0.001) in moisture, Young’s modulus, stress The corn-based bioplastics exhibited lower moisture values (7.26% 5.51%) compared potato-based ones (9.68% 8.89%). modulus increased (Am5 = 4.59 MPa) (Ap5 3.53 higher Furthermore, TGA SEM revealed surface morphology effects processing, based on their results, it found that improved thermal bioplastics, especially ones, suggesting potential as a material environmental impact.
