Feline coronavirus (FCoV) is an enveloped, positive‐sense RNA virus, which widespread among feline populations, and can cause a fatal serious disease called infectious peritonitis (FIP). According to the differences of antigen genetic composition, FCoV consists two genotypes, I II. In this study, we have isolated identified strain named HL2019. Based on complete genome HL2019, phylogenetic analysis showed that HL2019 formed in cluster more closed human 229E (HCoV 229E) HCoV NL63, while stains distantly related II strains. Analyzing with RDP4 Simplot software virus recombinant by China/ZJU1709 Netherlands/UU16 Furthermore, pathogenicity was evaluated 9–12‐month‐old cats. Two three challenged cats developed clinical signs died at 28‐day postchallenge (dpc). Real‐time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) has broad tissue tropism, especially duodenum viral load up 10 4 copies/mg. summary, our data show successfully highly pathogenic

Abstract Porcine circovirus type 4 (PCV4) is a newly emerging virus, with both PCV4 genomic DNA and specific antibodies detected in swine herds several provinces China South Korea. Although the virus was first identified 2019 Hunan, China, retrospective research suggests that serum samples collected as early 2008 were positive for antibody. Infections only or co-infections other pathogens have been associated clinical manifestations, but its pathogenesis remains to be determined. The purpose of this review following: (1) characterize epidemiology by assessing evolutionary dynamics genetic diversity strains circulating herds; (2) reconstruct computerized 3D model analyze Cap properties; (3) summarize current evidence PCV4-associated clinical-pathological manifestations. origin apparently distinct from PCV, based on analysis phylogenetic trees. Of note, shares an ancient common ancestor mink circoviruses. Furthermore, amino acid residue at position 27 key benchmark distinguish PCV4a ( S) PCV4b N), currently available, variation may alter antigenicity. In addition, capsid surface has characteristics increased polar residues, compared PCV2, which raises possibility target negatively charged host receptors promote infection. Further studies are required, including isolation culture, more detailed characterization molecular herds.

We identified a novel circovirus (human-associated 2 [HuCV2]) from the blood of intravenous drug users in China who were infected with HIV-1, hepatitis C virus, or both. HuCV2 is most closely related to porcine 3. Our findings underscore risk for and other emerging viruses among this population.

Porcine circovirus disease (PCVD) caused by porcine (PCV) is an important swine that characterized dermatitis, nephropathy syndrome, and reproductive disorders in sows. However, PCV2, PCV3, or PCV4 hard to distinguish, so a rapid sensitive detection method urgently needed differentiate these three types. In this study, four pairs of specific primers the corresponding probes for PCV 2, -3, -4, endogenous gene β-Actin as positive internal reference index, were designed establish TaqMan multiplex real-time PCR (qPCR) assay simultaneous differential diagnosis different types viruses. The results showed has good specificity no cross-reactivity with other viral pathogens. Furthermore, it high sensitivity, limit 101 copies/μL, reproducibility, intra- inter-group coefficients variation below 2%. Subsequently, 535 clinical samples suspected sow collected from Shandong, Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangsu provinces 2020 2022 analyzed using established assay. individual rates 31.03%, 30.09%, 30.84%, respectively; mixed infection PCV2 PCV4, PCV3 rate was 28.22%. This indicated provides convenient tool differentiation pig farms East China. Our findings highlight there are China, which makes prevention control difficult.
