Given the importance of understanding context management issues in world, this article discusses role both emic (developing culture-specific concepts) and etic (applying concepts across cultures) research international literature. This paper proposes a more comprehensive mixed methods cycle that can provide researchers with deeper under-researched countries. Empirical research suggests that focusing on one’s identity as a leader may enhance ongoing leadership development. As complement to traditional theory- and skills-based approaches development, we offer an identity-based, multidomain approach development through series of integrated in-class exercises.
