Процессы цифровизации и автоматизации предоставляют колоссальные возможности для развития. При этом они сопровождаются социальными рисками, главный из которых — высвобождение большого числа рабочих мест. Различные регионы и города обладают неодинаковым потенциалом приспособления к таким переменам.
В статье оцениваются перспективы адаптации российских регионов к цифровой трансформации. Выявлены основные предпосылки для увеличения адаптивного потенциала: высокая степень диверсификации деятельности и концентрации человеческого капитала, благоприятные условия для предпринимательства, развитая информационно-коммуникационная инфраструктура.
