This article describes research on the role of time perspective in a person’s choice of coping strategies in interpersonal conflicts. The interrelationship between different types of coping strategies (cognitive, emotional, and behavioral) and the orientation of time perspective are considered. P. G. Zimbardo’s technique, which defines the orientation of time perspective, and E. Heim’s technique, which is directed at exploring coping strategies, are used in our research. We investigate the relationship between age and five dimensions of time perspective measured by Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory (ZTPI) (past negative, past positive, present hedonistic, fatalistic future). is related to well-being, decision-making, level development, many other psychological issues. Hence, existence a systematic should be considered in all studies for which relevant variable. However, no specific research about it has been conducted. Adapting meta-analytical techniques, we collected 407 papers that referenced ZTPI 2001 2015. From those, 72 met our inclusion criteria. The authors investigated adolescents' use of coping strategies in relation to attachment parents and time perspective. Time perspective (TP) influences how individuals perceive and classify their past, present, future, impacting cognition, behavior, psychological outcomes. Deviation from the balanced time (DBTP) is associated with mental health problems (e.g., depression anxiety). Emotion regulation (ER) encompasses cognitive behavioral processes to regulate emotions, maladaptive strategies like rumination withdrawal linked anxiety. Despite extensive research on TP ER, joint impact, particularly in context of anxiety, cultural differences remain underexplored.
