Recently, the widespread surge in smartphone addiction (SA) has raised major global health concerns and prompted researchers to scrutinize inverse relationship between physical activity (PA) risk of SA. This systematic literature review aims synthesize empirical research on PA SA among university students representing most affected age group Adopting Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) guidelines, we explored five databases: PubMed, Social Sciences Research Network (SSRN), Oxford Archive, Journal Storage (JSTOR), Google Scholar. We used Mixed Methods Appraisal Tools (MMAT) quality assessment. Thirty-one studies met inclusion criteria. Twenty-eight them were cross-sectional, three experimental. The 31 emerged from 12 countries, stemming (45.16%) China. Their findings suggest an examined population. However, direct may be weak based correlational studies, while intervention yields noteworthy effects. Still, other factors like resilience mediate studied relationship. Methodological render results tentative. Regular could a promising preventive measure Future work should use objective indices longitudinal designs assessing type duration applications via device meters. In interviews follow up high or too much use. conclusion, moderate evidence indicates that can reduce students.

Chronotype were by version Morningness-Eveningness (MEQ) Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), respectively. HRQoL evaluated five-level EuroQol five-dimensional questionnaire (EQ-5D-5L), including descriptive system visual analog scale (VAS). Analysis Descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis. Results had significant negative as indicated both EQ-5D-5L index score EQ-VAS ( P < .001 both). Additionally, it found significantly predict (MEQ score) β = −.546, .001) (PSQI .163, .001). negatively −.058, .001), predictor (EQ-5D-5L score, −.008, .001; −1.576, Conclusion impacts quality, there is effect.
