There is world-wide generation of food waste daily in significant amounts, leading to depletion natural resources and deteriorating air quality. One-third global produced wasted laterally with the value chain. Carbon footprint an efficient way communicating issues related climate change necessity changing behavior. Valorization or utilization wastes helps resolving environment pollution. Reduction carbon throughout chain supply makes whole process eco-friendly. Prevailing disposal systems focus on their economic environmental viability are putting efforts into using as a resource input agriculture. Effective advanced management adopted deal massive production so fill gap between disposal. Food biorefineries sustainable, eco-friendly, cost-effective approach for platform chemicals, biofuels, other bio-based materials. These materials not only provide sustainable producing various chemicals but have potential reduce this huge burden significantly. In regard, technological advancement has occurred past few years that proven suitable tackling problem.

The shipping industry has reached a higher level of maturity in terms its knowledge and awareness decarbonization challenges. Carbon-free or carbon-neutralized green fuel, such as hydrogen, ammonia, methanol, are being widely discussed. However, little attention paid to the fuel pathway from renewable energy shipping. This paper, therefore, provides review production methods for power (green methanol) analyzes potential application shows that methanol (1) hydrogen seawater electrolysis using power; (2) ammonia + Haber–Bosch process; (3) CO2 power. While future is bright, short term, costs expected be than conventional fuel. Our recommendations therefore follows: improve technology reduce cost; develop electrochemical increase efficiency production; explore new technology. Strengthening research development expanding capacity ensure an adequate supply low- zero-emission marine important factors achieve carbon reduction

This paper provides a comprehensive overview of the physical properties and applications natural gas (NG) hydrogen as fuels in internal combustion (IC) engines. The also meticulously examines use both NG fuel vehicles, their production, characteristics, properties. It reviews current experimental studies literature investigates results using fuels. further covers challenges associated with injectors, needle valves, lubrication, spark plugs, safety requirements for Finally, related to storage, are discussed. review reveals that ignition (SI) engines has clear direct positive impact on economy certain emissions, notably reducing CO2 non-methane hydrocarbons. However, its effect other such unburnt hydrocarbons (UHC), nitrogen oxides (NOx), carbon monoxide (CO), is less clear. NG, which primarily methane, lower carbon-to-hydrogen ratio than diesel fuel, resulting emissions per unit energy released. In contrast, particularly well-suited gasoline due high self-ignition temperature. While increasing content reduces torque power output, higher input reduced consumption mitigation toxic exhaust emissions. Due temperature, not inherently suitable engines, necessitating exploration alternative methods introduction into cylinder. suggests shown reduction specific an increase NOx Overall, valuable informative opportunities IC highlights need research development address remaining challenges, more efficient chambers
