Abstract Head and neck cancers (HNCs), primarily head squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC), are associated with high‐risk human papillomavirus (HR HPV), notably HPV16 HPV18. HNC incidence is rising globally, regional variations reflecting diverse risk factors, including tobacco, alcohol, infection. Many criticalities affect diagnostic immunological testing, such as limited availability, the need for specifically trained staff, potential difficulties collecting blood samples, especially most vulnerable patients, i.e., elderly children. For this reason, identification of a new feasible reliable methodology autoantibody detection urgently needed.
