Abstract The present work reports an efficient removal of a cationic dye, methylene blue (MB), and anionic methyl orange (MO) dye from aqueous solution using graphene oxide (GO)–based nanocomposite as adsorbent. GO was investigated potential nano-reinforcing filler in starch/poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) biopolymer matrix. Bio-nanocomposite based on starch/PVA matrix were prepared by casting method. fabricated nanocomposites characterized FT-IR, XRD, Raman, TEM, FE-SEM, tensile study, Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) method, Barrett–Joyner–Halenda (BJH) zeta potential, swelling study. effect the various compositions nanofiller highlighted impact nanosheets properties revealed. results demonstrated that with 3 g found to be optimal concentration GO. Biodegradable and adaptable polymeric materials are currently being studied due to their wide scope of potential applications, from nanomedicine novel multifunctional materials. One such class polymers poly(disulfide)s, which contain repeating disulfide bonds in main chain. Lipoic acid, or thioctic is a biologically derived small molecule containing 1,2-dithiolane ring capable undergoing opening polymerization yield poly(disulfide)s. In this review, we highlight the synthesis lipoic acid-based poly(disulfide)s through thermal thiolate-initiated polymerizations, development methodology pertaining synthetic methods. We further discuss biomedical applications have been widely used construct various responsive biomaterials, including polymer-drug conjugates, nanoparticles, hydrogels, adhesives.

Albumin is derived from blood plasma and the most abundant protein in plasma, which has good mechanical properties, biocompatibility degradability, so albumin an ideal biomaterial for biomedical applications, drug-carriers based on can better reduce cytotoxicity of drug. Currently, there are numerous reviews summarizing research progress drug-loaded molecules or nanoparticles. In comparison, study albumin-based hydrogels a relatively small area research, few articles have systematically summarized hydrogels, especially drug delivery tissue engineering. Thus, this review summarizes functional features preparation methods different types their applications antitumor drugs, regeneration engineering, etc. Also, potential directions future discussed.
