Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an immune-mediated disease characterized by inflammation, demyelination, and neurodegeneration within the central nervous system. Brain plasticity, brain’s ability to adapt its structure function, plays a crucial role in mitigating MS’s impact. This paper explores potential benefits of lifestyle changes nutraceuticals on brain plasticity MS population. Lifestyle modifications, including physical activity dietary adjustments, can enhance upregulating neurotrophic factors, promoting synaptogenesis, reducing oxidative stress. Nutraceuticals, such as vitamin D, omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants like alpha lipoic acid, have shown promise supporting health through anti-inflammatory neuroprotective mechanisms. Curcumin, a compound known for its antioxidant and neuroprotective properties, faces challenges due to low water solubility, which can limit effectiveness. One effective method address this issue is through amorphization. Incorporating curcumin into polymeric matrix form amorphous solid dispersions common approach. Another strategy involves co-amorphous systems, where low-molecular-weight components act as co-formers. A recent innovative approach combines these strategies. This study used tryptophan co-former prepared systems using supercritical fluid technology. The nature of two was confirmed X-ray powder diffraction: one with 10% polymer, another curcumin, tryptophan. Abstract Turmeric ( Curcuma longa ) is a rich source of bioactive compounds, particularly curcuminoids, known for their potent antioxidant, anti‐inflammatory, and anticancer properties. However, hydrophobic nature limits bioavailability. This study aimed to encapsulate turmeric extract in zein nanoparticles coated with sodium caseinate chitosan enhance stability bioactivity. The demonstrated high antioxidant activity: (DPPH (2,2‐diphenyl‐1‐picrylhydrazyl): 94.15%, ABTS: 82.46%, Fe(II) chelation: 57.05%) contained significant phenolic (1737.13 mg GAE (equivalent gallic acid)/100 g) flavonoid (5548.77 RUE (mg rutin 100 g−1 the sample)/100 content. Nanoparticles were optimized at 1:0.8 zein/sodium ratio (183.53 nm), 10% loading (229.32 nm) 0.050% coating (226.51 nm). Encapsulation efficiency reached 66%, capacity 6.6%. Cytotoxicity assays revealed activity against renal (786‐0) liver (HUH7.5) tumor cells, suggesting therapeutic potential, respectively. highlights efficacy nanoencapsulation improving delivery bioactives pharmaceutical applications.

Postpartum depression and anxiety are common problems in primiparous women, which can negatively affect Maternal-infant bonding lead to sexual disorders. It's important prevent treat these issues, especially since medication options during breastfeeding may be limited. Our study aimed investigate the effect of curcumin, a natural substance known for its beneficial properties, on postpartum women. A randomized controlled clinical trial was conducted 96 women Tabriz City. Participants were randomly assigned either intervention group (n = 48) or control using random block method. The received curcumin capsules with dose 500 mg, while placebo same once daily eight weeks. Data collected Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) postpartum-specific Anxiety research short-form (PSAS-RSF) questionnaires. After intervention, mean score (mean difference: -2.5; 95% confidence interval: -3.3 -1.7; P < 0.001) (Mean -1.4; -2.1 -0.7; significantly lower than group. The Mediterranean diet (MED), a dietary pattern rich in fruits and vegetables, whole grains, legumes, nuts, fish, olive oil, has anti-oxidative anti-inflammatory effects.
