Abstract In the recent years, various strains of gut microbiota have been discovered to possess significant therapeutic potential, they are defined as next‐generation probiotics (NGPs). Akkermansia , Faecalibacterium Bacteriodes Eubacterium, and Bifidobacteria among typical NGP which exhibit several interesting bioactivities live biotherapeutics. However, some extremely sensitive oxygen, such prausnitzii . This hinders their cultivation large‐scale production. Therefore, it is essential develop a strategy protect them during production, storage, colonic administration. review, highlights key developed in alongside encapsulation strategies used them. The primary criterion for selecting encapsulating techniques feasibility be performed under strictly anaerobic conditions. Various processes selected according physical forms products, including liquid, gel, solid forms, well final shaping product. critical factors materials include biocompatibility, safety, effective oxygen barrier properties, an optimal release profile gastrointestinal tract. review discusses protection aimed at improving survival thereby effectiveness NGPs.

Abstract Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) refers to chronic inflammatory disorders of the gut. Ulcerative colitis (UC) and Crohn’s (CD) are two subtypes IBD. Evidence suggests that intestinal microbiota plays a role in pathogenesis IBD, so probiotics have garnered lot interest as potential treatment or prevention for However, clinical evidence efficacy is still debatable. We performed literature review. An advanced search considered studies on probiotic IBD from inception 2023 PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Web Science. In UC with probiotics, only Escherichia coli Nissle 1917 maintenance remission, Bifidobacterium VSL#3 induction remission patients mild moderately active shown strong evidence. Currently, there no definitive conclusions regarding effectiveness CD. The mechanism may be related reducing oxidative stress, repairing barrier, regulating flora balance, modulating immune response. Differences benefits between CD attributable different lesion extent immune-mediated pathophysiology. More robust randomized trials required validate safety diverse strains

The gut microbiota has been implicated in the context of sexual maturation during puberty, with discernible differences its composition before and after this critical developmental stage. Notably, there a global rise prevalence precocious puberty recent years, particularly among girls, where approximately 90% central cases lack clearly identifiable cause. While link between observed, precise causality underlying mechanisms remain elusive. This narrative review aims to systematically elucidate potential that underlie intricate relationship puberty. Potential avenues exploration include investigating impact on endocrine function, regulation hormones, such as gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), luteinizing (LH), follicle-stimulating (FSH). Additionally, will delve into interplay microbiome, metabolism, obesity, considering known association obesity also explore how microbiome's involvement nutrient metabolism could Finally, attention is given microbiota's ability produce neurotransmitters neuroactive compounds, potentially influencing nervous system components involved regulating By exploring these mechanisms, seeks identify unexplored targets emerging directions understanding role microbiome relation ultimate goal provide valuable insights for development non-invasive diagnostic methods innovative therapeutic strategies future, specific probiotic therapy.

Abstract Adequate intake of live probiotics is beneficial to human health and wellbeing because they can help treat or prevent a variety conditions. However, the viability reduced by harsh environments experience during passage through gastrointestinal tract (GIT). Consequently, oral delivery viable significant challenge. Probiotic encapsulation provides potential solution this problem. production methods used create conventional technologies often damage probiotics. Moreover, systems produced do not have required physicochemical attributes robustness for food applications. Single‐cell based on forming protective coating around single probiotic cell. These coatings may be biofilms biopolymer layers designed protect from environment, enhance their colonization, introduce additional functions. This article reviews factors affecting probiotics, analyses shortcomings existing technologies, highlights advantages single‐cell encapsulation. It also various approaches available including implementation characteristics produce. In addition, mechanisms which improve bioavailability benefits are described. benefits, limitations, safety issues technology applications in beverages analyzed. The daylily (Hemerocallis citrina Baroni) flower is a traditional raw food material that rich in variety of nutrients. In particular, the content polysaccharides abundant and has been widely used as functional component food, cosmetics, medicine, other industries. However, studies on structure-effective relationship are still lacking. view this, were isolated purified, their physical chemical properties, structure, antioxidant activity, adhesion-promoting effect probiotics evaluated. results showed novel water-soluble polysaccharide (DPW) with an average molecular weight (Mw) 2.224 kDa could be successfully using column chromatography. Monosaccharide composition analysis DPW only comprised glucose fructose, molar ratio 0.242:0.758.
