Diabetes is a chronic and, according to the state of art, an incurable disease. Therefore, treat diabetes, regular blood glucose monitoring crucial since it mandatory mitigate risk and incidence hyperglycemia hypoglycemia. Nowadays, common use meters or continuous via stinging skin, which classified as invasive monitoring. In recent decades, non-invasive has been regarded dominant research field. this paper, electrochemical electromagnetic approaches will be discussed. Thereby, scientific sensor systems are compared commercial devices by validating principle investigating their performance utilizing Clarke error grid. Additionally, opportunities enhance overall accuracy stability sensing even predict development avoid hypoglycemia using post-processing fusion presented. Overall, show comparable in grid that ones. However, they different stages therefore, need improvement regarding parameter optimization, temperature dependency, testing with under real conditions. Moreover, size solutions must further reduced for wearable system.

Abstract The realization of hybrid optics could be one the best ways to fulfill technological requirements compact, light-weight, and multi-functional optical systems for modern industries. Planar diffractive lens (PDL) such as lenses, photonsieves, metasurfaces can patterned on ultra-thin flexible stretchable substrates conformally attached top arbitrarily shaped surfaces. In this review, we introduce recent research works addressed design manufacturing graphene optics, which will open new markets in compact light-weight next-generation endoscopic brain imaging, space internet, real-time surface profilometry, mobile phones. To provide higher flexibility, lower process complexity, chemical-free with reasonable investment cost, direct laser writing (DLW) laser-induced-graphene (LIG) is actively being applied patterning PDL. For realizing performances DLW, photon-material interactions have been studied detail respect different parameters; resulting characteristics evaluated terms amplitude phase. A series exemplary laser-written 1D 2D PDL structures demonstrated base materials, then, cases are expanded plasmonic holographic structures. combination these conventional bulk refractive or reflective elements bring together advantages each element. By integrating suggestions, suggest a way realize used future micro-electronics inspection, biomedical, outer space, extended reality (XR)

Abstract This review paper delves into the advancements and innovations revolutionizing contact lens (CL) manufacturing, focusing on techniques technologies aimed at improving vision quality wearer comfort. The article begins by tracing evolution of CL fabrication techniques, paying homage to Leonardo da Vinci’s early contributions. It then discusses traditional methods such as lathe-cutting, spincasting, molded fabrication, recent advent 3D printing in production. further explores advanced designs, including spherical, aspheric, toric, bifocal/multifocal CLs, highlighting their specific applications benefits. Material manufacturing are examined, with an emphasis silicone hydrogel CL, hybrid lenses combining different materials, development biocompatible gas-permeable (GP) materials. Evaluation optical design efficiency is another crucial aspect covered this paper, encompassing visual acuity, contrast sensitivity, through-focus curves, reading performance, peripheral refraction, patient-reported outcomes for vision. Additionally, role nanotechnology surface modifications enhancing properties explored, along advances coating treatments, antimicrobial UV protection coatings. Nanocomposites polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) TiO2 showed refractive indices between 1.52 1.59, while NPs poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate) (PHEMA) yielded values ranging from 1.47 1.53. PGMA-TiO2 nanocomposites exhibited 1.50. Furthermore, PVP-PVA-Ag silver (Ag) achieved higher within range 1.45 1.49. concludes discussing challenges future directions addressing discomfort, oxygen permeability moisture retention, scalability. Overall, offers valuable insights cutting-edge transforming production paving way improved correction satisfaction.
