This study examined the relationship between coping styles and ICD-11 PTSD Complex in a large sample of Ukrainian Internally Displaced Persons. Data were collected 2016 using self-report measures from all oblasts not occupied by Russian forces. In total, 13.1% people met diagnostic requirements for PTSD, 7.8% PTSD. Higher levels avoidant evident those meeting compared to either. Mental health interventions targeting might be particularly useful reducing burden traumatic stress among war-affected Ukrainians.

Background: The International Trauma Questionnaire (ITQ) is a validated measure that assesses ICD-11 posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and complex PTSD (CPTSD). An important task to determine whether the ITQ an appropriate evaluative for clinical trials. Objective: To assess psychometric properties of in context treatment if measures reliable clinically significant change over course psychosocial intervention.Method: Analyses were based on data from online skills training programme delivered 254 U.S. Veterans. Reliability validity scores assessed at baseline. Changes symptom probable diagnostic rates compared pre-, mid- post-treatment. A index (RCI) score was computed classify participants as improved, unchanged, or worsened. PCL-5 used comparison measure. Results: Baseline concurrent factorial similar previous studies. Internal consistency each assessment excellent comparable PCL-5. Decline symptoms pre-to-post-treatment CPTSD profiles. Rate (PTSD CPTSD) declined significantly pre-treatment Pre-to-post declines exceeded critical RCI values ITQ. Clinically changes observed where most some stayed same, few performance consistent with regarding sensitivity change. Conclusion: This study provides first demonstration treatment-related symptoms.

Abstract Background Very little is known about the mental health of adult population Ukraine following Russia’s full-scale invasion in February 2022. In this study, we estimated prevalence seven disorders, proportion adults screening positive for any disorder, and sociodemographic factors associated with meeting requirements each disorder. Methods A non-probability quota sample ( N = 2,050) living September 2023 was collected online. Participants completed self-report questionnaires disorders. Logistic regression used to determine predictors different Results Prevalence estimates ranged from 1.5% (cannabis use disorder) 15.2% (generalized anxiety disorder), 36.3% screened Females were significantly more likely than males (39.0% vs. 33.8%) screen Disruption life due 2014 Ukraine, greater financial worries, having fewer childhood experiences consistent risk disorders or multiple Conclusion Our findings show that approximately one three report problems diagnostic a disorder 18 months after invasion. Ukraine’s healthcare system has been severely compromised by loss infrastructure human capital war. These may help identify those most vulnerable so limited resources can be effectively.
