Microplastics biological toxicity, environmental persistence and chemicals have been paid widespread attention. exposed to chicken spleen injury of the specific mechanism is unclear. Thus, we randomly assigned chickens 4 groups: C (normal diet), L-MPs (1 mg/L), M-MPs (10 H-MPs (100 assessed damage after 42 d exposure. Morphologically, boundary between red white pulp was blurred, along with expansion pulp. It further speculated that microplastics induced mitochondrial dynamic homeostasis (Drp1 upgraded, Mfn1, Mfn2, OPA1 reduced), provoked apoptotic pathway (Bcl-2/Bax decreased, cytc, caspase3, caspase9 raised), resulting in redox imbalance lipid peroxide accumulation (MDA increased, CAT, GSH, T-AOC plummeted), stimulated ferroptosis (FTH1, GPX4, SLC7A11 decreased). Here explored impact polystyrene on spleen, as well programmed death (apoptosis ferroptosis) involved, regulative role mitochondria this process. This could be significant importance bridging gap laboratory research microplastics-induced chicken.

Micro(nano)plastic, as a new type of environmental pollutant, have become potential threat to the life and health various stages biology. However, it is not yet clear whether they will affect brain development in fetal stage. Therefore, this study aims explore effects nanoplastics on rat brains. To assess allocation NPs (25 nm 50 nm) regions brain, pregnant rats were exposed concentrations (50, 10, 2.5, 0.5 mg/kg) PS-NPs. Our results provided evidence transplacental transfer PS-NPs with prominent presence observed several cerebral regions, notably cerebellum, hippocampus, striatum, prefrontal cortex. This distribution bias might be linked developmental sequence each region. Additionally, we explored influence prenatal exposure myelin given its highest PS-NP accumulation offspring. Compared control rats, caused significant reduction basic protein (MBP) oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG) expression, decrease thickness, an increase cell apoptosis, decline population. These gave rise motor deficits. In conclusion, our identified specific following revealed that can suppress formation cerebellum fetus.

Abstract Imidacloprid (IMI) is a neonicotinoid insecticide with the highest global market share, and IMI exposure in environment can negatively affect many nontarget organisms (a general term for affected by drugs other than target organisms). Resveratrol (RSV), non‐flavonoid polyphenolic organic compound derived from peanuts, grapes, plants, has anti‐inflammatory antioxidant effects. It currently unclear how RSV protects against cell damage caused IMI. Therefore, we established an experimental model of chicken lymphocyte lines exposed to 110 μg/mL and/or 0.5 μM 24 h. According results, markedly raised intracellular reactive oxygen species levels diminished activity cellular enzymes (CAT, SOD, GPx), leading MDA accumulation decreased T‐AOC. JNK , ERK P38 essential components mitogen‐activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling pathway, were also expressed more when was present. Additionally, resulted upregulation mitochondrial apoptosis ( Caspase 3 9 Bax Cyt‐c ) necroptosis 8 RIPK1 RIPK3 MLKL related factors expression, downregulation Bcl‐2 induction cytokine IL‐6 TNF‐α IFN‐γ expression. The combined treatment significantly reduced oxidative stress levels, inhibited MAPK alleviated IMI‐induced apoptosis, necroptosis, immune dysfunction. To summarize, antagonized dysfunction inhibiting ROS/MAPK pathway.
