Following the recent special issue in Frontiers Psychology, entitled “ The Role of Teacher Interpersonal Variables Students’ Academic Engagement, Success, and Motivation ,” calling educational researchers worldwide to examine different teacher interpersonal communication behaviors that contribute student-related academic outcomes, this conceptual review article is written familiarize researchers, teachers, students with main concepts instructional their role as pillar successful teaching learning processes. To aim, by drawing on positive psychology movement rhetorical relational goal theory communication, we argue are facilitators a wide range desirable outcomes. Then, support our argument, provide empirical evidence. To expand the line of research investigating individual teacher-related variables, present sought to test a structural model teacher reflection, self-efficacy, burnout, and emotion regulation among Iranian EFL instructors. Moreover, mediation was examined, hypothesizing that would mediate influences reflection self-efficacy on burnout. Collecting data from sample 238 teachers, equation modeling (SEM) embarked hypothesized relationships. The study were gathered through participants’ responses four questionnaires related variables under investigation (i.e., variables). outcomes confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) verified fitness used model. To add to this line inquiry, present study aimed scrutinize correlation among English as a foreign language (EFL) teachers' self-efficacy, work engagement, reflection context China. do so, three previously validated questionnaires related each were distributed Chinese EFL with various experiences academic degrees, sample 614 completed questionnaires. The results Pearson's Product-moment revealed that participants' positively correlated.
