The endoplasmic reticulum and the internal nuclear compartments are intrinsically connected through membrane, pores lamina. High resolution imaging of each these cellular features concurrently remains a significant challenge. To that end we have developed new molecular membrane-endoplasmic (NM-ER) staining fluorophore with emission maxima at 650 nm. NM-ER is compatible fixed live cell stimulated depletion microscopy (STED) showing improvement in when compared to comparable confocal laser scanning microscopy. versatility was illustrated its use other fluorophores for co-imaging DNA, lamina allowing abnormalities be identified. alone, or region labels could an important tool investigation transport associated processes.

Importantly, is type I photosensitizer, producing O 2 ⋅ − ⋅OH under light irradiation. Thus, irradiating certain period, photodynamic therapy inflicted severe oxidative damage tumor cells hypoxic (2 % ) conditions activated unique pyroptosis pathway, demonstrating excellent antitumor capacity xenograft models. Hence, proposed strategy will likely shed new optics NAFLD cancer therapy.
