Natural antioxidants are more attractive than synthetic chemical oxidants because of their non-toxic and non-harmful properties. Brown seaweeds are excellent sources of bioactive molecules with a wide range pharmacological effects, whose content can vary depending on several factors, including the origin and environment in which algae grow.This study aimed to estimate 19 compounds regarding primary secondary metabolites eight brown macroalgal species from clean Egyptian Red Sea coast. A proximate analysis, pigment, phenolic compounds, vitamin contents were determined. In addition, energy antioxidant activity estimated explore potential application as functional foods encourage species' commercialization.Based chemical composition, Polycladia myrica was most valuable species, comparatively high protein 22.54%, lipid 5.21%, fucoxanthin 3.12 μg/g, β-carotene 0.55 mg/100 g, carbohydrate 45.2%.
