Diabetes is a heterogeneous metabolic disease characterized by elevated blood glucose levels resulting from the destruction or malfunction of pancreatic β cells, insulin resistance in peripheral tissues, both, and results non-sufficient production insulin. To adjust levels, diabetic patients need exogenous administration together with medical nutrition therapy physical activity. With aim improving availability as well ameliorating diabetes comorbidities, different strategies have been investigated. The first approaches included enhancing endogenous cell activity transplanting new islets. protocol for this kind intervention has recently optimized, leading to standardized procedures. It indicated severe hypoglycemia, complicated impaired hypoglycemia awareness exacerbated glycemic lability. Transplantation associated improvement all comorbidities diabetes, quality life, survival. However, trials are ongoing further improve beneficial effects transplantation. Furthermore, overcome some limitations islets/pancreas, alternative therapeutic under evaluation, such use mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) induced pluripotent cotransplantation MSCs islets successful, thus providing protection against proinflammatory cytokines hypoxia through mechanisms, including exosome release. recent requires investigation. advantages MSC implantation also diabetes-related wound healing. Despite number direct injection MSCs, involving biomaterials scaffolds developed efficacy delivery promising results. In conclusion, paper offered an overview management while highlighting that will be future approaches.

Argan tree is mainly used to obtain the oil from its seeds in a process that generates by-products such as pulp of fruit. The aim this study was assess vitro antioxidant activity and profile bioactive compounds an argan fruit extract, assay metabolic effects intake mouse experimental model. Our results showed high ethanolic extracts juice measured total polyphenol content, reducing capacity, ABTS, DPPH, lipid peroxidation inhibition capacity. In addition, several with antioxidant, hypoglycemic, anti-inflammatory were identified (vaccihein A, bergapten, methyl chloragenate, 2-O-caffeoyl glucaric acid, avicularin, quercetin-3-O-sophoroside, prodelphinidin B4 mirificin). Dietary induced remarkable hypoglycemic decreased gene expression inflammatory markers. Gene enzyme liver detoxifying enzymes differentially affected by intake, whereas gut microbiota modulated decreasing Firmicutes/Bacteroidetes ratio. conclusion, can be considered functional food or ingredient beneficial on metabolism biomarkers.

This systematic review extensively investigated the role of genetic and transcriptomic factors in late complications type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) current approaches targeting oxidative-stress-related pathways with antioxidant therapies. To cover our broad research area, we have conducted two searches, first focusing on affecting oxidative stress second one therapies T2DM. The final included 33 studies 23 interventional randomized clinical trials. highlights important development T2DM patients. However, level evidence does not support use as predictive prognostic biomarkers for complications. Further are needed to elucidate potential novel preventative therapeutic approaches. Additionally, antioxidants both dietary supplement form been shown improve different metabolic biochemical parameters patients developed In recent years, improved methodological quality despite still mainly microvascular Furthermore, observed suggest non-homogeneity duration observation. As many do provide post-intervention follow-up testing, it is difficult assess long-term health benefits supplementation.

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a metabolic disease characterized by abnormal blood glucose levels-hyperglycemia, caused lack of insulin secretion, impaired action, or combination both. The incidence DM increasing, resulting in billions dollars annual healthcare costs worldwide. Current therapeutics aim to control hyperglycemia and reduce levels normal. However, most modern drugs have numerous side effects, some which cause severe kidney liver problems. On the other hand, natural compounds rich anthocyanidins (cyanidin, delphinidin, malvidin, pelargonidin, peonidin, petunidin) also been used for prevention treatment DM. standardization, poor stability, unpleasant taste, decreased absorption leading low bioavailability hindered application anthocyanins as therapeutics. Therefore, nanotechnology has more successful delivery these bioactive compounds. This review summarizes potential its complications, well strategies advances using nanoformulations.

Rhazya stricta is a well‐known medicinal plant and source of numerous potential secondary metabolites including steroids, alkaloids, tannins. R. possesses multimedical applications used for curing various diseases such as inflammation, diabetes, sore throat, infectious, helminthiasis, arthritis, cancer. The current investigation deals with synthesizing AgNPs using aqueous ethanol extracts . synthesized ‐AgNPs were characterized through UV‐visible, Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), atomic force microscopy (AFM) methods. UV‐visible analysis exhibited characteristic absorption λ max at 475 nm in while this peak was absent crude extract. thermal stability demonstrated that by increasing the reduction time temperature, also increased, leading to more stable NPs formation. FTIR spectra showed broad 450‐550 cm -1 confirmed occurrence AFM study revealed spherical shape size ranging from 30 90 nm. In antioxidant antibacterial study, good activity (87.94% 88.37%) than extract (50.00% 56.81%) 100 μ g/mL DPPH assay.
