Vaccination plays a critical role in public health by reducing the incidence and prevalence of infectious diseases. The efficacy vaccine has numerous determinants, which include age, sex, genetics, environment, geographic location, nutritional status, maternal antibodies, prior exposure to pathogens. However, little is known about gut microbiome how it can be targeted through dietary interventions improve immunological responses. Therefore, article aims comprehensively review diet probiotics modulate composition, linked efficacy. Dietary fiber polyphenolic compounds derived from plant-based foods microbial diversity promoting growth short-chain fatty acids-producing microbes. On other hand, animal-based have mixed effects – whey protein fish oil promote eubiosis In contrast, lard red meat adverse effects. Studies further indicate that probiotic supplements exert varied effects, mostly strain dosage-specific. Interlinking diet, microbiome, probiotics, vaccines will reveal opportunities for newer research on diet-induced microbiome-manipulated precision vaccination strategies against

Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) constitute a heterogeneous group of isolated from fermented foods, animals, plants, and mammalian guts, with many health-promoting properties. Probiotics antagonistic properties against human pathogens foodborne have garnered significant attention the scientific fraternity. A dedicated review focusing on plant-derived probiotic their has not been comprehensively reviewed. Thus, this aimed at providing an overview LAB isolates derived several unconventional sources such as fruits, seeds, fruit pulp, leaves, roots, vegetables, grasses, flowers antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral This paper reviewed antimicrobial different genera, Lactobacillus, Leuconostoc, Weissella, Enterococcus, Pediococcus, Bacillus, Fructobacillus, postbiotics, paraprobiotics. Several important mechanisms, including secretion bacteriocins, bacteriocin-like substances, reuterin, organic acids (lactic acetic), peptides, exopolysaccharides, hydrogen peroxide, attributed to actions pathogens. However, precise mode action is poorly understood; hence, further research should be conducted reveal detailed mechanisms. Finally, discusses summary future implications. Given significance, compounds can potentially exploited in food preservation safety or for medicinal applications after evaluating safety.

Scope This study aims to systematically review observational studies investigating the relation between dietary (poly)phenol consumption and various cognitive outcomes. Methods results Embase PubMed databases are searched from inception April 2023 for intake For quantitative analyses, random effects models, subgroup dose–response analyses performed. A total of 37 included in systematic review. Among (poly)phenols, a higher flavonoids is associated with better function lower odds decline (although some exceptions). meta‐analysis shows an overall inverse association impairment reduced incidence dementia or related disorders (relative risk (RR) = 0.83, 95% confidence interval (CI): 0.76, 0.89), anthocyanins (RR 0.73, CI: 0.60, flavones 0.77, 0.63, 0.94), flavan‐3‐ols 0.86, 0.82, 0.91), flavonols 0.88, 0.80, 0.96). Data on other (poly)phenolic compounds (i.e., phenolic acids) promising but too preliminary. Conclusion Habitual inclusion diet may play preventive role against disorders.

Phenolic molecules are most prevalent secondary metabolites plants, diverse spectrum biological ac-tions benefit functional meals nutraceuticals. These compounds have received lot at-tention recently because they antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, anti-rheumatoid activity modulating tumour necrosis factor, mitogen-activated protein kinase, nu-clear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer activated B cells, c-Jun N-terminal kinases, as well other preventative properties. This article discusses dietary polyphenols, their pharmacological properties, innovative delivery technologies for treatment RA, focus on possible activities. Nonetheless, commercialization polyphenols may be achievable only after confirming safety profile completing successful clinical trials.

Sesame seeds are important resources for relieving oxidation stress-related diseases. Although a significant variation in seeds’ antioxidant capability is observed, the underlying biochemical and molecular basis remains elusive. Thus, this study aimed to reveal major seed components key mechanisms that drive variability of activity (AOA) using panel 400 sesame accessions. The AOA, total flavonoid, phenolic contents varied from 2.03 78.5%, 0.072 3.104 mg CAE/g, 2.717 21.98 GAE/g, respectively. Analyses revealed flavonoids acids main contributors AOA variation, irrespective coat color. LC-MS-based polyphenol profiling high (HA) low (LA) uncovered 320 differentially accumulated compounds (DAPs), including 311 up-regulated HA seeds. Tricin, persicoside, 5,7,4′,5′-tetrahydro-3′,6-dimethoxyflavone, 8-methoxyapigenin, 6,7,8-tetrahydroxy-5-methoxyflavone were top five HA. Comparative transcriptome analysis at three developmental stages identified 627~2357 DEGs unveiled differential regulation flavonoid biosynthesis, phenylpropanoid stilbene biosynthesis capacity variation. Major regulated structural genes transcription factors identified. SINPZ0000571 (MYB), SINPZ0401118 (NAC), SINPZ0500871 (C3H) most highly induced TFs Our findings may enhance quality breeding.
