The food processing industry is a continuously developing sector that uses innovative technologies to efficiently process products. During processing, industries generate substantial amounts of by-products in the form waste materials. This consists organic matter rich bioactive compounds, such as polyphenols, carotenoids, and flavonoids. Improper management can adversely affect both environment human health, leading environmental pollution release greenhouse gas emissions. Thus, proper has become an urgent global issue. presence compounds (mainly flavonoids, anthocyanins, but also alkaloids, proteins, lipids, carbohydrates) holds potential transform them into valuable resources. Several sectors, including energy, have recognized source. Recently, much emphasis been placed on optimizing extraction yield through utilization environmentally friendly sustainable methodologies solvents. Pulsed electric field (PEF)-assisted emerging technique promise for PEF technology optimize within shorter time while minimizing solvent energy consumption. The antioxidant activity of the natural phenolic extracts is limited in particular food systems due to existence compounds glycoside form. Acid hydrolysis post-treatment could be a tool convert glycosidic polyphenols aglycones. Therefore, this research investigated effects an acid on composition and parsley obtained by ultrasound-assisted extraction method delay lipid oxidation real system (i.e., soybean oil-in-water emulsion). conditions were varied maximize total content (TPC) 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging activity. When exposed 0.6 M HCl for 2 h at 80 ℃, TPC was 716.92 ± 24.43 µmol gallic equivalent (GAE)/L, DPPH 66.89 1.63 %. Not only did increase concentrations individual polyphenols, but it also resulted release new phenolics such as myricetin acid. extract's metal chelating ferric-reducing increased significantly after hydrolysis. In emulsion containing 400 GAE/L, acid-hydrolyzed extract had 11-day lag phase headspace hexanal compared 6-day unhydrolyzed extract. findings indicated that conversion aglycones can help extend shelf-life emulsion-based foods.

Naringenin (NA) is a natural flavonoid used in the formulation of wide range pharmaceutical, fragrance, and cosmetic products. In this research, NA was extracted from Searsia tripartita using an environmentally friendly, high efficiency extraction method: ultrasound-assisted with deep eutectic solvents (UAE-DES).Six solvent systems were tested. Choline chloride as hydrogen bond acceptor (HBA), formic acid, ethylene glycol, lactic urea, glycerol, citric acid donors (HBD).Based on results single-factor experiments, response surface methodology Box-Behnken design applied to determine optimal conditions for UAE-DES. According results, parameters follows: DES-1 consisted choline (HBA) (HBD) mole ratio 2:1, time 10 min, temperature 50°C, ultrasonic amplitude 75 W, solid-liquid 1/60 g/mL. Extracted shown inhibit activity different enzymes vitro, including α-amylase, acetylcholinesterase, butyrylcholinesterase, tyrosinase, elastase, collagenase, hyaluronidase. Thus, UAE-DES technique produced high-efficiency while retaining bioactivity, implying broad application potential, making it worthy consideration high-throughput green method.
