The parenting style will have a subtle influence on children’s peer communication. Previous studies paid more attention to “the of mother’s empathic ability”. Thisstudy adopted combination questionnaire method and infant interview further explore the different styles ability between children peers among 66 toddlers in Y Kindergarten Fuzhou, Fujian Province. results showed that authoritative was positively associated with empathy their peers, while authoritarian, permissive dismissive were negatively peers. This study was aimed at evaluating the associations between maternal parenting practices (positive, negative/inconsistent, and punitive), children’s difficulties (such as conduct problems, emotional symptoms, peer hyperactivity), prosocial behaviors. Participants were 131 Italian mothers of primary school children; aged 26 52 years (M = 38.38, SD 5.46); children (54% girls) 6 10 7.15, 0.98). Mothers completed two scales assessing their psychosocial adjustment. A path analysis run to test hypothesized model. The results showed following: (a) positive negatively significantly related problems hyperactivity, positively behavior; (b) negative/inconsistent hyperactivity; (c) punitive symptoms. Moreover, that, according mothers’ perceptions, boys tended exhibit higher levels hyperactivity lower behaviors than girls. Overall, this highlights unique role different in adjustment children.
