BACKGROUND It is known that 24-hour movement behaviors, including physical activity (PA), sedentary behavior (SB), and sleep, are crucial components affecting older adults’ health. Canadian guidelines for adults were launched in 2020, emphasizing the combined role of these 3 behaviors promoting However, research on prevalence correlates guideline adherence its associations with health-related outcomes limited, especially among Chinese adults. OBJECTIVE This study aimed to investigate meeting Furthermore, this examine mental health outcomes. METHODS Using a stratified cluster random sampling approach, total 4562 (mean age 67.68 years, SD 5.03 years; female proportion: 2544/4562, 55.8%) recruited from latest provincial surveillance Hubei China July 25 November 19, 2020. Measures included demographics, (PA, SB, sleep), BMI, waist circumference, waist-hip ratio (WHR), percentage body fat (PBF), systolic diastolic blood pressure, fitness, depressive symptoms, loneliness. Generalized linear mixed models employed between variables using SPSS 28.0 (IBM Corp). RESULTS Only 1.8% (83/4562) participants met all guidelines, while 32.1% (1466/4562), 3.4% (155/4562), 66.4% (3031/4562) individual behavioral PA, respectively. Participants who older, female, lived municipalities lower economic levels less likely meet guidelines. Abstract Objective This study aimed to determine the relationship between meeting all three 24‐hour movement recommendations (i.e., physical activity, sleep duration, and screen time) obesity‐related indicators among young people. Methods Four databases were systematically searched (PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, Cochrane Library). Results Meeting was cross‐sectionally associated with lower overall ( r = −0.09, 95% CI: −0.11 −0.06), but no longitudinal association found. Regarding each indicator separately, related odds overweight/obesity (odds ratio 0.65, 0.56 0.76) obesity alone 0.28, 0.16 0.50). An inverse BMI, BMI z score, waist circumference, body fat also subgroup analysis, similar regardless sex, comparison used (meeting vs. not [i.e., those who met zero two behaviors] or none), type measure assess self‐reported accelerometer‐based measures). Conclusions may be a crucial factor in maintaining healthy weight status population.

Background Childhood obesity, which has been associated to heart disease, metabolic syndrome and disorders such as feelings of worry sadness in children is one the prominent obstacles for health general population recent decades. A great deal research shown connection between meeting 24-hour movement guidelines weight status young people. The purpose this study find correlation compliance with a large collection U.S. teenagers, examine whether these connections vary by sex, age, or ethnicity/race. Methods was gathered from Youth Risk Behaviour Survey (YRBS) conducted 2017, 2019, 2021, final analysis used total 40,970 participants aged 14–17 years. logistic regression estimate adherent (independent) (dependent) while adjusting race/ethnicity, grade, eating habits, cigarette use, alcohol drinking, perception weight, loss, sports team participation, year data acquisition. For statistical significance, p -value <0.05was used. Results Participators who not any (OR = 1.38, CI 1.20–1.58, < 0.001), 1 guideline 1.42, 1.28–1.58, 2 1.18, 0.001) were more worse status, compared those met 3 guideline. boys, did meet 1.63, 1.37–1.93, 1.49, 1.31–1.70, 1.16, 1.00–1.34, 0.048) correlated unfavourable all associated. disaggregated results gender, race, ethnic group shows that impact adhering pronounced boys than girls, each age demonstrates trend where correlates poorer White Hispanic/Latino exhibit stronger negative outcomes poor adherence other groups. Conclusion This suggests can significantly aid averting weight-related problems among adolescents, differences across race/ethnicity subgroups. Abstract Background Fundamental motor skills (FMSs) are crucial for children’s health and comprehensive development. Obese children often encounter a considerable challenge in the development of FMSs. School-family blended PA programs considered potentially effective approach to improve FMSs health-related outcomes among obese children, however, empirical evidence is still limited. Therefore, this paper aims describe development, implementation, evaluation 24-week school-family multi-component intervention program promoting Chinese namely Motor Skills Promotion Program Children (FMSPPOC) employing behavioral change techniques (BCTs) building on Multi-Process Action Control (M-PAC) framework as well using Reach, Effectiveness, Adoption, Implementation, Maintenance (RE-AIM) improving evaluating program. Methods Using cluster randomized controlled trial (CRCT), 168 (8–12 years) from 24 classes six primary schools will be recruited randomly assigned one two groups by randomization, including FMSPPOC group non-treatment waiting-list control group. The includes 12-week initiation phase maintenance phase. School-based training sessions (2 sessions/week, 90 min each session) family-based assignments (at least three times per week, 30 time) implemented (semester time), while 60-min offline workshops online webinars conducted (summer holiday). implementation undertaken according RE-AIM framework. For effectiveness evaluation, outcome (FMSs: gross skills, manual dexterity balance) secondary (health behaviors, physical fitness, perceived competence, well-being, M-PAC components, anthropometric body composition measures) collected at four time-points: baseline, mid-intervention, post-intervention, 6-month follow-up occasions. Background 24-h movement behaviors, including light physical activity (LPA), moderate-to-vigorous (MVPA), screen-based sedentary behavior (SSB), non-screen-based (NSB) and sleep are crucial components affecting mental health. This study aimed to examine the associations of behaviors with health outcomes among overweight/obese college students using a compositional data analysis approach. Methods Using prospective design, 437 Chinese (20.1 ± 1.7 years, 51.7% female) completed two-wave online collection, where demographics (LPA, MVPA, SSB, NSB, sleep) were collected at baseline, while depression, anxiety stress measured 2-month follow-up (Apr-Jul 2022). Compositional analyses implemented R. Results Depression, anxiety, negatively associated time spent in MVPA ( p < 0.001) positively SSB NSB 0.001). Reallocating 15 min from LPA, predicted improvements depression (LPA: −0.234 unit; SSB: −0.375 NSB: −0.249 unit), −0.092 −0.284 −0.165 −0.083 −0.312 −0.191 unit). ABSTRACT Introduction Twenty-four-hour movement behaviors: moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA), light (LPA), sedentary behavior (SB), and sleep are crucial factors affecting older adults’ health. Using a compositional data analysis approach, this study examined the associations of time spent in these four behaviors with cardiometabolic health, fitness, mental health among adults. Furthermore, identified estimated changes aforementioned outcomes by reallocating SB to other behaviors. Methods A population-based cross-sectional 4562 participants (67.68 ± 5.03 yr; 55.8% female) were implemented Hubei China between July 25 November 19, 2020. Measures included demographics, behaviors, indicators (body mass index, waist circumference, waist–hip ratio, percentage body fat, systolic diastolic blood pressure), (depressive symptoms loneliness). Compositional analyses R. Results MVPA associated greater (all P < 0.001), except pressure ( = 0.13–0.83). LPA was circumference B 0.313, 0.009), ratio 0.003, 0.003), fitness 0.36, (both 0.001). Reallocating 30-min predicated improvements all outcomes, pressure, whereas resulted predicted (0.187 units), depressive (−0.264 loneliness (−0.395 units). For dose–effect relationships, 5–60 min showed greatest benefits for outcomes. Conclusions This provides timely empirical evidence future interventions policymaking on promoting healthy aging during post–COVID-19 era. The findings underline importance including 24-h promotion
