Introduction: Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a neurodegenerative disorder associated with cognitive and behavioral impairments motor symptoms. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) biomarkers have been investigated as potential tools for detecting monitoring memory-related impairment in ALS. Our objective was to examine the importance of identifying MRI ALS, neuron disease (MND), ALS frontotemporal dementia (FTD) (ALS-FTD) patients. Methods: PubMed Scopus databases were searched. Keywords covering magnetic imaging, MND, memory There total 25 studies included our work here. Results: The structural (sMRI) reported gray matter (GM) atrophy regions processing, such hippocampus parahippocampal gyrus (PhG), diffusion tensor (DTI) showed white (WM) alterations corticospinal tract (CST) other tracts that are related extra-motor functions, these executive function functional (fMRI) also demonstrated an altered activation prefrontal cortex, limbic system, brain involved emotional processing Conclusion: show promise uncovering neural mechanisms Nonetheless, addressing challenges sample sizes, protocols, longitudinal crucial future research. Ultimately, be tool

The retina and brain share similar neurochemistry neurodevelopmental origins, with the retina, often viewed as a "window to brain." With retinal measures of structure function becoming easier obtain in clinical populations there is growing interest using findings potential biomarkers for disorders affecting central nervous system. Functional biomarkers, such electroretinogram, show promise neurological disorders, despite having limitations imposed by existence overlapping genetic markers, traits or effects medications that may reduce their specificity some conditions. This narrative review summarizes principal functional system related mouse models provides background main excitatory inhibitory neurotransmitters have been implicated explain visual electrophysiological findings. These changes contribute our understanding these conditions based on tests flash, pattern, multifocal electroretinograms, electro-oculogram. It likely future applications signal analysis machine learning algorithms will offer new insights into pathophysiology, classification, progression including autism, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, bipolar schizophrenia, depression, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's disease. New electrophysiology this field lead earlier, more accurate diagnoses better targeted therapeutic interventions benefiting individual patients clinicians managing individuals families.

Sleep is an essential activity for the survival of mammals. Good sleep quality helps promote performance daily functions. In contrast, insufficient reduces efficiency activities, causes various chronic diseases like Alzheimer’s disease, and increases risk having accidents. The GABAergic system primary inhibitory neurotransmitter in central nervous system. It transits gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) via GABA A B receptors to counterbalance excitatory neurotransmitters, such as glutamate, noradrenaline, serotonin, acetylcholine, orexin, dopamine, which release increase arousal activities during sleep. Several studies emphasized that dysfunction related insomnia, most prevalent sleep-related disorder. comprises neurotransmitter, receptors, synthesis, degradation. Many have demonstrated levels correlate with quality, suggesting modulating may be a promising therapeutic approach insomnia. this article, we highlight significance sleep, classification pathology impact changes on addition, also review medications target systems including benzodiazepines (BZDs), non-BZDs, barbiturates, supplements, Chinese herbal medicines.

Abstract With the ever‐growing requirements in healthcare sector aimed at personalized diagnostics and treatment, continuous real‐time monitoring of relevant parameters is gaining significant traction. In many applications, health status may be carried out by dedicated wearable or implantable sensing devices only within a defined period followed sensor removal without additional risks for patient. At same time, disposal increasing number conventional portable electronic with short life cycles raises serious environmental concerns due to dangerous accumulation chemical waste. An attractive solution address these complex contradictory demands offered biodegradable devices. Such able perform required tests programmed then disappear safe resorption body harmless degradation environment. This work critically assesses design development concepts related bioresorbable sensors applications. Different aspects are comprehensively addressed, from fundamental material properties principles application‐tailored designs, fabrication techniques, device implementations. The emerging approaches spanning last 5 years emphasized broad insight into most important challenges future perspectives provided.
