Apple pomace represents an underexploited source of bioactive compounds. This study examines the optimization total phenolic content (TPC) and antioxidant extraction yield apple (variety: Belorusskoje malinovoje) using response surface methodology. The green technique used was ultrasound-assisted extraction, it compared with conventional solvent extraction. impact time amplitude on polyphenols antioxidants has been evaluated. Total determined established TPC assay. activity assays 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH•) 2,2′-azino-bis (3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid (ABTS•+). Furthermore, potential as a feed material explored by assessing its nutritional composition, vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, amino content. compounds efficiently optimized RSM. optimal conditions for DPPH• analyses were achieved 17.5 min 20%. Optimal ABTS•+ 5 20% amplitude. Conventional methods yielded comparable results. Moreover, exhibits ingredient despite modest protein contributes to utilization providing additional information thus contributing sustainable in various industries, especially livestock sector.

Pear pomace, a byproduct of juice production, represents valuable reservoir bioactive compounds with potential health benefits for humans. This study aimed to evaluate the influence drying method and temperature on pear specifically focusing kinetics, grinding characteristics, color, phenolic profile (LC-MS/MS), antioxidant activities powder. Drying using contact at 40 °C microwave assistance demonstrated shortest duration, whereas freeze-drying was briefer compared contact-drying without assistance. Freeze-drying resulted in brighter more easily comminuted pomace. Lyophilized samples also exhibited higher total compound levels contact-dried ones, correlating enhanced activity. Twenty-one were identified, dominant acids being quinic, chlorogenic, protocatechuic. Flavonoids, primarily isoquercitrin, rutin, presented. pomace dried via 60 contained quinic protocatechuic acids, while freeze-dried same chlorogenic acid, epicatechin, catechin. The content certain components, such as gallic acid varied depending applied temperature.
