The co-occurrence of aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) and zearalenone (ZEN) in grain-based food animal feed poses significant health risks to humans animals due their potent mutagenic, cytotoxic, carcinogenic properties. Conventional physical chemical methods are insufficient for effectively detoxifying multiple mycotoxins present feed. In this study, we evaluated the capability Bacillus subtilis ZJ-2019-1 (B. ZJ-2019-1) simultaneously degrade AFB1 ZEN while optimizing reaction enhance degradation efficiency. localization active ingredients from B. was determined using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Our findings demonstrated that eliminated 60.88% 33.18% within 72 h at a concentration 10 mg/L 37 °C (pH 7.0) exerted greater activity under alkaline conditions. autoclaved boiled supernatants exhibited enhancement ZEN, achieving rates 79.85% 100%, respectively, 1 48 °C. Moreover, crude enzymes showed maximum (100%) (94.29%) 70 Additionally, divalent cations (such as Co2+, Fe2+, Mn2+, Ni2+) significantly augmented towards mycotoxin degradation. Furthermore, when applied corn gluten meals, strain detoxify 66.08% 22.01% surpassing efficacy commercial detoxification agent on market (34.17% 2.28% ZEN). Collectively, these indicated is promising candidate simultaneous removal feed, addressing concerns associated with harmful mycotoxins.

Chronic constipation (CC) is a common gastrointestinal condition associated with intestinal inflammation, and the considerably impairs patients' quality of life. We conducted large-scale 42-day randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial to investigate effect probiotics in alleviating CC. 163 patients diagnosed CC (following Rome IV criteria) were randomly divided into probiotic (n = 78; received Lactiplantibacillus plantarum P9 [P9]; 1 ×1011 CFU/day) placebo 85; material) groups. Ingesting significantly improved weekly mean frequency complete spontaneous bowel movements (CSBMs) (SBMs), while reducing level worries concerns (WO; P < 0.05). Comparing group, group was enriched potentially beneficial bacteria (Lactiplantibacillus Ruminococcus_B gnavus), depriving several bacterial phage taxa (Oscillospiraceae sp., Lachnospiraceae Herelleviridae; Interesting significant correlations also observed between some clinical parameters subjects' gut microbiome, including: negative correlation Oscillospiraceae sp. Abstract Background Ticks can transmit a broad variety of pathogens medical importance, including Borrelia afzelii , the causative agent Lyme borreliosis in Europe. Tick microbiota is an important factor modulating, not only vector physiology, but also competence. Anti-microbiota vaccines targeting keystone taxa tick alter feeding and modulate taxonomic functional profiles bacterial communities vector. However, impact anti-microbiota vaccine on tick-borne pathogen development within has been tested. Results Here, we characterized Ixodes ricinus modulation response to B. infection found that induces changes composition, its beta diversity structure community assembly. perturbation by antibodies or addition novel commensal bacteria into midguts causes departures from -induced which resulted lower load I. . Co-occurrence networks allowed identification emergent properties better defined infection-refractory states microbiota. Conclusions These findings suggest highly sensitive perturbations departure induced pose high cost spirochete.
