In the past, curcumin was go-to medication for diabetes, but recent studies have shown that tetrahydrocurcumin is more effective. The problem it's not very soluble in water or bioavailable. So, our research aims to increase bioavailability and anti-diabetic efficacy of streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats by synthesizing tetrahydrocurcumin-loaded solid lipid nanoparticles. Box Behnken Design employed optimization nanoparticles (THC-SLNs). optimal formulation determined doing an ANOVA examine relationship between independent variables (drug-to-lipid ratio, surfactant concentration, co-surfactant concentration) dependent (particle size, percent entrapment efficiency, PDI). Particle PDI, efficiency all showed statistical significance based on F-values p-values. optimized batch prepared using a drug-to-lipid ratio (1:4.16), 1.21% concentration surfactant, 0.4775% (observed with particle size 147.1 nm, 83.58 ± 0.838 % 0.265 values were found close predicted ones. As THC peak vanishes from DSC thermogram improved formulation, this indicates drug has been transformed its crystalline form into amorphous state. TEM analysis demonstrated mono-dispersed particles average 145 nm which are closely related zetasizer's results. In-vitro release study burst followed sustained up 71.04% throughout 24 hrs. Additionally, pharmacodynamic experiments marked decrease blood glucose level 63.7% increased body weight 195.8 7.223 231.2 7.653 28th day better effect than suspension. Results stability revealed can be stored longer periods at room temperature. Tetrahydrocurcumin effectively administered SLN treatment diabetes.

Abstract Dr. S. Shruthi, Prof. K. Bhasker Shenoy. Cisplatin (CDDP) is the first metal‐based drug and has been a popular in treatment of various types cancer for decades. Cancer cell death promoted by this platinum‐based generating DNA adducts activating apoptotic signaling pathways. The development resistance foremost clinical concern that compromises its efficacy. mechanism CDDP encompasses changes influx efflux, accumulation reduction, enhanced detoxification, repair which may affect therapeutic value. Researchers have paid significant attention to overcoming resistance, provides an opportunity enhance outcomes. Combinational therapy, use analogs, phytochemicals, nanoparticle‐mediated delivery, gene targeting regulation induced epigenetic are specific regimens overcome burden. In review, we summarize mechanisms involved strategies considered these hurdles concerning preclinical studies. This provide insights into further novel approaches uproot ascertain safer more effective therapy.

The antioxidant capacity polyphenols their potential inhibit activation procarcinogens, cancer cell proliferation, metastasis, angiogenesis, as well promote inhibition or downregulation efflux transporters, have been linked reduced risk epidemiological studies. Polyphenols also ability alter immunological responses inflammatory cascades, trigger apoptosis cells. discovery relationship between abnormal growth signaling metabolic dysfunction cells highlights importance further investigating effects dietary polyphenols, including boost efficacy chemotherapy avoid multidrug (MDR). Currently, nanotechnology is the most promising science, engineering, and technology conducted at nanoscale (nm), which used in several sectors. Collectively, causing a new industrial revolution, nano-based products are becoming increasingly important for global market economy. The interest nanomaterials has been strongly augmented during last two decades, this fact can be easily evaluated by considering number of studies present literature. In November 2024, they accounted 764,279 experimental developed years 2009–2024.
