Societies across the globe are growing increasingly environmentally aware, resulting in more and consumers demanding eco-friendly product alternatives. This phenomenon is also evident beauty industry, with many brands striving to add green products their range new continuously emerging markets. Abstract The current existential global threat brought about by excessive carbon emissions caused employee activity in the workplace calls for actions of corporate environmental policy. Thus, this study investigated sequential mediating effects perceived behavioral control (PBC) and attitude between green human resource management (GHRM) behavior (EGB) on basis ability–motivation–opportunity (AMO) theory planned (TPB). Data were purposely collected using a quantitative approach from cross‐sectional 425 lecturers Malaysian public universities. Smart PLS‐SEM was utilized to investigate relationship variables. Findings confirmed GHRM PBC. Furthermore, results demonstrated strong positive PBC both EGB. In addition, link EGB found be significantly related. This research explores the effect of green human resource management (GHRM) practices on employee behavior (EGB). A conceptual model involving two double-moderations is developed and tested with data collected from 397 respondents various industries in India. Hayes's PROCESS macros were used testing hypotheses. Consistent Ability-Motivation-Opportunity (AMO) Social Identity Theory (SIT), recruitment strategies (GRS) institutional initiatives (GII) positively predict EGB. The results indicate that significant three-way interaction between GRS, training development (E-GTD), participation involvement (E-GPI) influenced findings also suggest GII, performance management, appraisal (E-GPMA), compensation, rewards (E-GCR) influencing EGB was significant. implications for (G-HRM) sustainability are discussed.

Academic research indicates that Bangladesh has relatively low levels of employee green behaviour. Developed and developing nations worldwide have raised environmental awareness within their workforces in response to the alarming rate deterioration caused by human activities.
