Exposure to traumatic war events may lead a reduction in quality of life for many years. Research suggests that these impairments be associated with posttraumatic stress symptoms; however, wars also have profound impact on social conditions. Systematic studies utilising subjective (SQOL) measures are particularly rare and research post-conflict settings is scarce. Whether factors independently affect SQOL after addition symptoms has not been explored large scale studies. A link between sarcopenia and cognitive function has been proposed is supported by several investigations. Nevertheless, the sex-linked relationship these two diseases scarcely investigated. This cross-sectional study investigated sex differences in association mild impairment. We included all 286 participants aged 60 years or older with MCI who visited Department of Neurology at Veterans Health Service Medical Center South Korea from January to December 2021. The diagnosis was confirmed neurologists based on participants' neuropsychological test scores. Diagnosis algorithm Asian Working Group for Sarcopenia (AWGS) 2019 including bioelectrical impedance analysis handgrip strength, assessed using Seoul Neuropsychological Screening Battery Core (SNSB-C) test.Among participants, 171 112 were men women. After adjustment potential covariates APOE genotype, women there significant associations (OR = 4.72, 95%CI [1.39-15.97]), while no participants. In eight subdomains SNSB-C, we also found that demonstrated a memory decline 3.21, [1.01-10.19]) as compared reference group without after adjusting mentioned above. No any SNSB-C subdomain participants. We different may affect differently sex. These results imply that, regard function, maintaining muscle mass might be more crucial than men.
