The root of Millettia speciosa Champ. (MSCP) is used in folk medicine and popular as a soup ingredient. composed the rhizome radix, but only radix has been food. Thus, it very important to compare chemical components antioxidant activities between radix. extracts were analyzed by UHPLC-Q-Exactive Orbitrap-MS multivariate analysis, evaluated 2,20-azinobis (3-ethylbenzothiazo-line-6-sulfonic acid) diammonium salt (ABTS) 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging assays. Ninety-one compounds detected simultaneously temporarily identified. Ten identified markers distinguish from higher than rhizome. Correlation analysis showed that uvaol-3-caffeate, 3-O-caffeoyloleanolic acid, khrinone E main active for activity, which allowed rapid differentiation rhizomes Therefore, could be helpful future exploration its material base bioactive mechanism. In addition, would considered new method quality control M. speciosa.

The effects of Laminaria japonica fucoidan (LF) on immune regulation and intestinal microflora in cyclophosphamide (CTX)-treated mice were investigated this work. Results indicated that LF significantly enhanced the spleen thymus indices, promoted lymphocyte peritoneal macrophages proliferation, increased immune-related cytokines production serum. Moreover, could regulate flora composition, increasing abundance Lactobacillaceae Alistipes , inhibiting Erysipelotrichia Turicibacter Romboutsia Peptostreptococcaceae Faecalibaculum . These results positively correlated with characteristics. Overall, be useful as a new potential strategy to mitigate CTX immunosuppression microbiota disorders.

Turmeric, a traditional medicinal herb, is commonly used as dietary and functional ingredient. This study aimed to investigate the effect of turmeric polysaccharides (TPs) on intestinal immunity gut microbiota in cyclophosphamide (Cy)-induced immunosuppressed BALB/c mice. We verified that oral administration TPs-0 TPs-3 (200 400 mg/kg, bw) improved thymus spleen indexes, increased whole blood immune cells (WBC) lymph count index, stimulated secretion serum immunoglobulin IgG. More importantly, could repair damage reduce inflammation. The specific mechanism ameliorating pathological damage, promoting CD4+ T cell secretion, regulating expression related cytokines, reducing level critical proteins NF-κB/iNOS pathway. Interestingly, intake significantly content short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs). Moreover, relieved disorder via proliferation abundance Lactobacillus Bacteroides inhibition Staphylococcus. Cumulatively, our suggests can relieve by repairing barrier flora disorders. TPs have potential applications for enhancing food.

Polysaccharides are generally considered to have immune enhancing functions, and mulberry leaf polysaccharide is the main active substance in leaves, while there few studies on whether (MLP) has an effect immunosuppression intestinal damage caused by cyclophosphamide (CTX), we investigated MLP ameliorative CTX. A total of 210 1-day-old Mahuang cocks were selected for this experiment. Were equally divided into six groups used evaluate MLP. Our results showed that significantly enhanced growth performance chicks elevated secretion cytokines (IL-1β, IL-10, IL-6, TNF-α, IFN-γ), immunoglobulins antioxidant enzymes serum immunosuppressed chicks. It attenuated jejunal expression tight junction proteins Claudin1, Zo-1 MUC2, which protected health. activated TLR4-MyD88-NF-κB pathway TLR4, MyD88 NF-κB, served protect intestine. 16S rDNA gene high-throughput sequencing increased species richness, restored CTX-induced gut microbiome imbalance, abundance probiotic bacteria gut. improves cyclophosphamide-induced inhibition modulating flora regulation capacity. In conclusion, study provides a scientific basis as enhancer regulate chick mucosal damage.

Tetrastigma hemsleyanum Diels et Gilg is a traditional Chinese herbal medicine with high medicinal value, and antitumor, antioxidant anti-inflammatory biological activities. However, while several studies have focused on flavonoids in tubers, there are few the enhanced immune effect of polysaccharides (THP). In this study, we evaluated antitumor THP lung tumor model explored mechanism activity through intestinal flora. addition, cyclophosphamide (CTX)-induced immunosuppression was used to declare immunomodulatory immunosuppressive state induced by drugs. The results showed that increased content ileum secreted immunoglobulin A (SIgA) cecum short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) improved microbial community diversity, regulating relative abundance dominant microbiota flora from phylum level genus level, recovering microflora disorder caused tumors. Additionally, can increase organ indices improve atrophy. upregulate routine blood counts stimulate production serum cytokines. also promoted macrophage phagocytic index, NK-cell activation, complement (IgG, IgA, IgM) levels. detection Splenic lymphocyte proliferation T subsets sideways reflects restore CTX-induced inhibition mice. conclusion, study suggests effectively achieve effects, regulate gut Therefore, enhance capacity provide novel antineoplastic adjuvant agents.

The aim of this experiment was to investigate the modulation effect Acanthopanax senticosus polysaccharide (ASPS-PD) extracted with deep eutectic solvent on cyclophosphamide-induced immunosuppression in broilers and its gut microbiota broilers. 108 one-day-old were divided into six groups, including control group, Cyclophosphamide (CY) model ASPS-PD ASPA-PD high low dose groups Astragalus group. Body weight, feed intake, conversion ratio, immune organ index at 7, 14, 21 days determined; IL-2, IFN-γ, lgG1 levels determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA); Broiler caeca feces analyzed amplification 16S rRNA sequencing. results showed that can restore growth performance, increase improve serum cytokine IL-2 IFN-γ immunoglobulin CY-treated analysis cecum flora promote proliferation beneficial bacteria reduce number harmful bacteria, regulating intestinal flora. Therefore, may be a potential novel immunomodulator ameliorate CY-induced dysregulation broiler.
