Objective aim this study was to analyze relationship between psychopathological symptoms (tested with Depression Anxiety Stress Scale, DASS-21) (measured Professional Quality Life ProQol) in a hospital southern Italy. Methods 204 workers were recruited non-probabilistic sampling divided age, gender, work roles (physicians, nurses intermediate care technicians) clinical departments (Cardio-medicine, Infectious Diseases, Emergency Medicine, First Aid, Obstetrics Pneumology). Results results showed higher Secondary Traumatic Stress, Depression, women than men. Physicians experienced lower Compassion Satisfaction but Burnout technicians; likewise, more anxious physicians. Since MA is believed be linked teaching methods, it could hypothesized new environment affected levels. Thus, study investigated whether levels of evaluated before during first wave changed as consequence implementation. Moreover, we were interested investigating satisfaction with their effort math, academic achievement correlated learning. Participants 117 Italian middle high school students. No significant differences between pre- mid-pandemic found when considering entire sample. Analyzing separately, results indicated high-MA students reported significantly lower learning, however no difference was observed for moderate- low-MA individuals. Furthermore, negatively MA, both education.

Background: Considering the widespread use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during COVID-19 pandemic, which conceals facial expressions, this study aims (1) to explore expression recognition ability; (2) assess ability read expressions under different conditions face coverage; and (3) investigate role emotional intelligence in recognition. This multidimensional exploration provides vital insights for creating novel learning methods, emphasizing pivotal emotions. Methods: The sample comprised 124 Italian adult subjects, consisting 71 females (57.3%) 53 males (42.7%), with a mean age 35.31 years. present investigation employed Emotional Intelligence Scale (EIS) an image-based questionnaire administered via online platform Google Forms. Student’s t-test one-way ANOVA were computed SPSS (v. 29). Results: Significant differences found based on gender, profession, level education intelligence. implications processes are discussed. Conclusion: unveils intricate dynamics emotion recognition, occupation, education’s influence, By incorporating these into educational programs, transformative process can be initiated, nurturing not only empathy, cultural insight, but also catalyzing evolution toward inclusive emotionally equipped societies.
