Interleukin-10 (IL-10) is a pleiotropic cytokine that has fundamental role in modulating inflammation and maintaining cell homeostasis. It primarily acts as an anti-inflammatory cytokine, protecting the body from uncontrolled immune response, mostly through Jak1/Tyk2 STAT3 signaling pathway. On other hand, IL-10 can also have immunostimulating functions under certain conditions. Given pivotal of modulation, this could relevant implications pathologies characterized by hyperinflammatory state, such cancer, or infectious diseases case COVID-19 Post-COVID-19 syndrome. Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) is a chronic, relapsing inflammatory disorder of the gastrointestinal tract. Though pathogenesis IBD remains unclear, diet increasingly recognized as pivotal factor influencing its onset and progression. Fatty acids, essential components dietary lipids, play diverse roles in IBD, ranging from anti-inflammatory immune-regulatory functions to gut-microbiota modulation barrier maintenance. Short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs), products indigestible fiber fermentation by gut microbiota, have strong properties are seen key protective factors against IBD. Among long-chain saturated trans ω-6 polyunsaturated exhibit pro-inflammatory effects, while oleic acid ω-3 display actions. Lipid mediators derived serve bioactive molecules, immune cell offering both benefits. Recent research has also highlighted potential medium- very modulating inflammation, mucosal barriers, microbiota Given these insights, intervention supplementation with short-chain emerging therapeutic strategies for This review elucidates impact various lipid on delves into avenues stemming compounds.

Ulcerative colitis (UC) is a chronic inflammatory disorder affecting the colon, with symptomatology influenced by factors including environmental, genomic, microbial, and immunological interactions. Gut microbiota dysbiosis, characterized bacterial population alterations, contributes to intestinal homeostasis disruption aberrant immune system activation, thereby exacerbating state. This study assesses therapeutic efficacy of intraperitoneal (IP) injected flavonoids (apigenin, luteolin, xanthohumol) in reduction parameters modulation gut murine model ulcerative colitis. Flavonoids interact modulating their composition serving as substrates for fermentation into other anti-inflammatory bioactive compounds. Our results demonstrate effectiveness luteolin xanthohumol treatment enhancing relative abundance microorganisms, attenuating pro-inflammatory species. Moreover, all three exhibit cytokine levels, strongly demonstrating utility alleviating associated physical UC symptoms. suggests that this molecule potential alternative or co-therapy conventional pharmacological interventions, potentially mitigating adverse effects. In this study, the probiotic characteristics four strains, Saccharomyces boulardii CNCMI-745, Kluyveromyces marxianus QHBYC4L2, cerevisiae QHNLD8L1, Debaryomyces hansenii QSCLS6L3, were evaluated in vitro; their ability to ameliorate dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-induced was investigated. Among these, S.
