Due to that, this study focuses on optimization morphology functionalization hydroxyapatite (HAP). For purpose, hydrothermal growth HAP (fluorine tin oxide) FTO is carried out presence calcium phosphate precursors with Ca/P molar ratio 1.67:1 solution. Trisodium nitrilotriacetic acid (NTA) used as chelating additive for first time during process at temperature between 120 180 °C 16–24 h. Further studies effect NTA concentration formation indicate that hierarchical structures are formed NTA/Ca 1:1 150 24 h, improving crystallinity increasing. To facilitate HAP, layer deposited peeled using two different reagents, Fluoromount™ polyvinyl alcohol (PVA). The PVA shows no relevant morphological changes SEM images, indicating successful peeling PVA. After powders functionalized alendronate (AL) molecules studied ATR-FTIR, XPS BET techniques. Chemical shift PO43− vibrations appearance new peaks assigned –NH2 group demonstrate AL-functionalization. AL-HAP fabricated aid can be introduced multifunctional biomaterials future bio-applications.
